The Boulevard 70CS has 8.75" as their lowest harness height.

Which is still iffy for newborns. I know that my average size kiddos (both were just over 8lbs at birth) did not fit into a classic Britax with the 10" harness until 6 months and 9 months. They would've fit in the new generation Britax earlier but still not at birth.

But we digress. OP, did you decide to get the base?
