The menu for Captain's Grille looks very appealing to us, but I can't find many reviews for it here on the DIS. Can you all help me out? We want to go for dinner. Pictures are also very helpful! Is it good? :goodvibes

All five of us really enjoyed Captain's Grille when we dined there about a year and a half ago. The menu had enough items that appealed to all of us. I really enjoyed the fish entree that I had that night. My girls really liked their steaks. It was also the most relaxing meal we had during that trip. I would not hesitate to go back.

We ate there as my mom's retirement celebration on our last trip and it was WONDERFUL!!! The waitress was so sweet and very attentive. She only works there during the summer since she is a school teacher, but she was just great! The food was delicious. We ate with a family of 8 everyone had something different and everyone loved what they got. We liked the fact that you could get a meal that had several courses for a reasonable price. This is definitely a restaurant we will be returning to! hope that helps:thumbsup2

We ate there in mid-December and really enjoyed it! The malt and vinegar fries were amazing, we loved the decor, and all of the waiters were very nice and attentive. I agree, very relaxing and quiet.

We had some great lunches at Captain's Grille over the summer. It's a nice, relatively quiet, low-key option with some unique menu items (such as lobster sliders for lunch and crab legs for dinner).

DH and I took our DD12 and her BFF last January. It was a last minute ADR because we were hungry and at the BW. The place was mostly empty which was nice. I'm sorry that I don't remember specifics but we all really liked our meals and the service was terrific. We are going back this month.

You can find good information here on the DIS about any restaurant on property just by going to the dark blue menu bar near the top of this page and clicking on "Dining". Here is a direct link to the Captain's Grille page. :disrocks:

Captain's is one of my "go-to" places when I (a) don't have an ADR, and (b) need to "get away from all these people" for a while. Very low-key, mellow environment. Food is surprisingly good.

Olivia's is another one.
