Hi,

I was hoping for some suggestions for a TS meal at Epcot-we're doing Le Cellier already. Whats another one you would never miss? DH. my mum and my DS of 5 are going.

Thanks!

Without a doubt the Garden Grill. Our two sons are 4 and 8 and it was their favorite of the 6 character meals we went to in August. The character interaction was wonderful and the food was good too!

We'll be eating there ourselves a week from Friday and can't wait!!

Alfredo's is nice. Very noisy though - but the food is good. Rose and Crown is nice as well - ask for an outside table if possible. Coral Reef is also nice - your DS would probably enjoy seeing the fish :)

Honestly - all of the restaurants are good. The only one we have tried that we didn't care for was San Angel.

I agree with the Rose and Crown outside table recommendation. Both DD and I enjoyed our meal there.

If you like Middle Eastern food, Marrakesh is a lot of fun! We love the atmosphere, the food and the belly dancing!

i second the garden grill. We don't have any kids but eat there almost every time we go to epcot :)
Personally I like San Angel and have always gotten good food there... I always get the same thing though...the combination plate.
I would also suggest the Japanese steak house.

We like that also however it's the least child friendly meal in Disney IMO. They had a children's menu but it was just smaller versions of what was available for the adults. Would work for any family that had kids that will eat anything. Sadly our kids are the typical mac and cheese, pizza and chicken nuggets type so it doesn't work for us anymore for the time being :)

I'd second the recommendation to try Restaurant Marrakesh. It's not as exotic as it sounds plus you get the music/belly dancer as entertainment.

We second Rose & Crown.
Le Cellier is wonderful - your DS (if he likes chocolate) will love the moose dessert - it looks like a moose with leaf cookie ears and a chocolate cake head. Chocolate "Moose" - $3.99

We tried Italy - but there pizza's do not look or taste anywhere close to a NY pizza - so it was a no-go with our kids.

Mexico. Germany, Japan, Norway - check the menu's and make sure your DS will eat something. The food is related to the counry's tastes.

Rose & Crown(nice out side seating), Coral Reef (more expensive) and Garden Grill (Mickey, Chip & Dale characters) are all good choices

Look at the below web-site for menu's:

Pick a place where your family will like the food.

Alfredo's, Rose & Crown, Coral Reef, all already mentioned are very nice. Decent food, good atmosphere!

My favorite is Marrakesh -- wonderful food in an exotic setting. My picky kids' favorite is Teppanyaki. My adventurous kid likes San Angel. Le Cellier is fine, but I prefer more unusual food when possible.

I like that some of the World Showcase restaurants still aren't serving mac and cheese and pizza -- I think they should serve food authentic to the country. I have two kids who would probably order that stuff if it were on the menu. Since it isn't, they have to pick something else! Yeah, they leave most of the veggies at Teppanyaki, but they love the meat and rice. Kids used to also get fresh fruit there -- not sure if that is still the case since the menu change.

Depends on what you like...
we love seafood, so Coral Reef is excellent, but it also has non seafood dishes that are awesome! Great ambience...
We also LOVED Alfredo's....their Fettucini Alfredo is how it is supposed to be! YUM!!!!!
Have fun deciding!!!

Chefs de France! Chefs De France!! Chefs de France!! - the tenderloin, cheeses, onion soup, salmon, etc

Alfredos - the lasanga
Markkaresh - beef kabob, lemon chicken, hummus!
China-typical, but very good!

A must do for us is Rose and Crown. We also really like San Angel Inn-good food, nice atmosphere, friendly CM's.

My children would vote for the Rose and Crown. When we visited in April, we ate there three times because they liked the fish and chips so much. They also liked Coral Reef for the atmosphere but not so much for the food. DD was okay with the mac and cheese...sort of...but DS didn't like any of the choices. We ruled out Chefs de France, Marrakesh and Teppanyaki...even though the adults would have enjoyed them...because we thought the children wouldn't eat anything. From my recent experience, I would advise you to avoid all food issues. There's nothing worse than paying all this money to buy food, then have the child reject it, only to have the child be a complete horror because he/she is hungry. We are planning to bring lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with us our next trip as emergency back-up.

Have fun!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions,
We're going to try The Restaurant MARRAKESH. Dh really wanted to go there ( though I think it might be for the Belly Dancer  )

Just 21 days more to wait! (don't know if I can do it)
