I need advice about chef mickeys breakfast?

We are staying on disney property but not at the contemporary resort and we have a 7:30 breakfast with chef mickey, what is the best way to get there? We will have our car. Is it ok to drive and park at the conteporary? That would be the easiest way for us. If any one has any ideas it would really help.

Just drive over there. You will just tell the security guy at the gate that you are going to Chef Mickey's and will have to show a photo ID. They will let you park there no problem while you are eating.

Then you drive over to the park you are planning to go to for the day.

That is not allowed and you would risk having your car towed. You are only able to park there for the duration of your meal. Then you need to take your car and drive to the park or in this case the Ticket and Transportation Center and park it there.

Well, first it depends on where you are staying. If you are staying at the Poly or GF you can just ride the monorail, but if you are not staying at Poly or GF you should just drive. None of the buses go to other hotels and the park buses don't run that early. So, you are better off driving your own car.​

We were just there in Janurary and stayed at the POFQ. We also had 7:30 am breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's. We had NO problems riding the bus to MK and riding the monorail to Chef Mickey's. We were on the bus at 6:30 am! Take the bus!!

If you are going to MK after, then, your better bet is to park at TTC, get on the Monorail, and ride over to the CR. You could also take the bus from POFQ to the MK and walk to the CR. It's a wonderful 5 minute walk. That would be the quickest and easiest way. And you could leave the car at the resort.

The trick is to do the least amount of driving at WDW.

There is a very early bus that run to the resorts for character breakfasts. We went on the steam engine tour a few years ago and had to be at MK by 7:30, we caught the early bus. There were only a few people on it, the driver dropped off one family directly at Contemporary then us at MK. We were at MK by 7:00.
