I need a tutorial on e-readers!

I have a 1st gen Nook and love it. I only use my ereader to read books...Love the E-Ink...I hate reading with backlight (like the Ipad, etc). I put mine in airplane mode and the battery lasts for a couple of weeks...really nice on a long flight, etc. I can download PDFs as well which is nice. If I replace mine, it will be with the Simple Nook or the Glow Nook some of these days.
