Although I do know you're just trying to include me in your conversations because I don't have kids of my own that unbuckle their seatbelts. Although I do have a young cousin who freaked out when I started the car and her seatbelt wasn't done up yet.

Thanks!! I know, my friend's DD was so sick that we did two rides and left. I was really bummed but what can you do? How's your sister doing? Any timeframe for your car or did you already get it and I missed the news?? We'll definitely have to meet up in June!

Hi Sam! Haven't seen you in awhile you crazy woman!

Well I have a few excuses!

1. 4 doctor appointments this week!

2. Crappy old computer at home. I normally take the good laptop home from work on the weekends, but this weekend my SIL needed it to do some work (she works for me part time doing data entry). So I was stuck with the old computer and I live out in the sticks with dial up internet - not a good combination, unless you have lots of time & patience!!

3. I've just been plain busy this week. I'm in accounting, so I'm either totally swamped or have nothing to do. You can tell when I'm not busy, because I'll post a lot! So I might be a sporadic poster! (OK Tag Fairy, that would be a good one!).

4. We are going camping this weekend at the beach. So I'm trying to get the RV ready after work every day! First camping trip of the year is always bad - I empty everything out for the winter, so it doesn't freeze or mildew! So I'll surely forget something important like blankets, toothpaste or underarm deodorant!

I'm kind of sneaking posts in between work. Can't believe my boss doesn't want to pay me to surf the Disboards all day!!

No I did not get the name, but I did get it in Lime Green! I hate that you have to pick their sentences, I wanted to say "The hyenas take over DL, June 2007" but you can't! Very cute with Simba and Nala, I'll get Lauren and Samantha a Nala tank top and Nathan the SiImba Creeper. Or maybe Nathan could be Scar!!! Or we could make the boys Timon and Pumbaa, who would your son like better?? Oh this will be fun!

I may also get the casual tank, but it doesn't come in green so on that one, I'm gonna pick the yellow. Can't get white because I will be all over Grizzly and Splash in the heat!! What color are you gonna get the kids? I'm gonna do grey for Nathan, not sure about the girls!

Awww...it's okay. I hope she's feeling better. No, haven't bought my car yet but I'm going to talk to my dad to see if we could go this weekend. We both have the 19th off for President's Day, which means 3-day weekend. I'm hoping the dealerships will have some sort of sale. Maybe if I get on his good side I can get a Nissan 350Z instead

My sister is doing well. She didn't have to stay overnight in the hospital. She's in a lot of pain but is recovering. She's still at my parents house resting.

It's a website that my friends from the Komen message board found and it's kind of a neat way to keep everyone informed of how you are doing when going through an illness.

Early in my diagnosis I decided that I could laugh or cry & be depressed about having cancer. I decided to laugh (well that & kick the cancer in the butt!). I even named my new prosthesis Betty Boo B.! Sounds better to say you need to put in your Betty before leaving the house!

Hi Sam, Yes, I'll check that out lady. And yes I still think CRAZY is a better word for you!!! Feisty is good too but CRAZY just seems to fit!
OK I have to go get ready to help out at DD's school today. I think I am going to take a bat to keep her little boyfriend off of her this Valentine's day.

ok so Im gonna start my TR here and if you dont want to read it...too bad jk...

Cast: Me..Lynn..DD Tiffany(20) GD Lexie(5)

left merced about 1:30 on thursday 2/8 and although we did hit traffic, we didnt get it bad until we reached Commerce...got into Anaheim about 6:15 so we decided to go check in to our hotel...we stayed one night at the HI on S. Manchester...got it through Priceline for $45...the room was very clean and comfortable...got way more than I paid for...the only downside to it was the minute I opened the door I got a whiff of smoke...in a non smoking room I might add...I knew I wouldnt be able to handle this so I called down and they offered to switch me to another room...got moved to the 5th floor and although I did smell smoke in the bathroom, it wasnt bad and it didnt come out into the room nor did it get on our clothes so it was fine...also, I had a really hard time finding this place...I spent probably 40 minutes trying to find it...had no problems finding Manchester but they have some weird turns and stuff which drove me batty....finally I called and they told me where to go and I found it...

here's some pics:

we left the hotel and went to GK where we met Eatmypixiedust...we saw Belle in her blue dress, Snow White, Chip and Dale, Goofy, who liked to mess up pixie's hair Pluto, and Gheppeto..which btw I had never seen him except in parades so it was nice...I ate the same things as I did last time so I didnt take pictures...in fact I didnt take pics of nothing this time..I forgot how hard it is having little ones with you...when Im by myself I can shop, take pics everything but not this time...I called Jemilah and she was still in the restaurant and she came over to our table with her 2 boys and we talked for a few minutes and then they left..after dinner we walked around DLH and showed Lexie the waterfalls and we went over by the Sierra Tower where they have this huge fan in the ground and Lex stood on it and posed Marilyn Monroe style...it was hecka funny....by then it was getting late so we said our goodbyes to Pixie and went back to the hotel and as tired as we were, I didnt get to sleep until 1:30 so I was really tired when my alarm went off the next morning...

I'm not a big fan of the green either, but I won't do white (water rides in summer) and it shows up better on lime than the other two colors they had! Yes see what Dizzy thinks so I can order the kids today before the sale ends! How about your two boys do Timon and Pumbaa and I'll have the baby get Scar? That would be cute. Or Nathan could have Zazu? I'm gonna go on there now and check it out!
