I NEED a trip to DL.

Now I'm just trying to justify it to myself. We are wanting to redo the floors in our house and I told Dh that we would not get the AP's again til dd danced at DL or we got our new floors in so we didnt blow that money on DL again. We did that last year, always meant to do floors but kept going to the parks. It was fun but I'm still stuck with my ugly floors. Soooooo, in my head I'm thinking that if I wait and go in a couple months I will have the new floors that I want and I can concentrate on DL without feeling guilty! Dh says I am overthinking and I should go have a good time! Does this make sense or am I rambling again????

AZ: We just got an estimate for our floors and countertops so IKWYM. BUT---I've decided one thing has nothing to do with the other. Getting away---for a day or a month---is what keeps me going, so I'm not going to stop one for the other. A couple days at DL won't break the bank for me, but I'll be way more pleasant to live with!

We are driving in on Saturday morning, and (hopefully) picking my DSis and her DH up at the airport. I'll let you know later in the week our ETA.

My guess is we'll be in the parks before lunch.

no, i only work Fri-Sat-Sun, School Mon-Thur, but the past few weeks, no Friday. Ah well, might go to the park today. Few of my co-workers wanted to nuts on Space Mt. hahahaaha

Sorry, DH has to do a lot of work from home on Monday morning, and while I have allowed these boards to overtake my life, I try to keep the one who earns the paycheck free to use the computer!!!

I think the CDLL trip sounds like great fun, but unfortunately I have to work , at least I know I will be stalker free for a couple of days, but it will be awfully lonely here alone on these boards

So AZ - if it was that easy to convince DH to go on the trip - you convinced him yet to come work with me??? Remember - 6days=AP. Besides, it would be one less nighttime check I would have to do around the outside of my house if I actually knew where you were!!

they made faces at me and and stared at me like I was stupid and and burned me and and everything haha no jk...I dont know...I just really dont like the taste of them too much...the dough part isnt sweet enough..only reason its any sweet at all is due to the cinnamon sugar however, my daughter and my gd loves them so Im sure I will be spending my hard earned money on those dumb things

LOL! I'm glad the churros didn't grab you and threaten to dip you in cinnamon sugar or pink cinnamon sugar! Churros are okay but I prefer to blow my money on a dole whip float!

Shhh...I'm not a fan of lime green (I'm a lime green traitor I know!) but I did make little laminated tags out of the other mickey heads from home depot. I'll put one on my bag. I hope Im able to make it down there to hang out with you guys. I'm hoping to have some kind of answer by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. My dad is always so busy.

Awesome idea! Hey, should we invite the Tag Fairy too? They might not want to reveal themselves though...they've probably read this thread and will be at DL sitting at one of those umbrella tables wearing dark shades and a big hat! lol!

I'm trying to make it down there. My schedule is a mess this week. Very stressful! I have to work but I did get Friday off but I'm not sure what is going on. My dad just got back but he is completely jet lagged from travelling overseas. He's always busy and I know once he sets foot in his office a million people are going to need him for something or the other.... I tried to get a car before he left but there just wasn't enough time and all we managed to get in was a test drive. =P
