I need a new hair straightner.

I Our Chi has had it, so we were out tonight looking at new ones.Is there anything in stores these days that are better than a CHI? If not, where can I get the best deal(no ebay)? I think the cheapest so far is $150.00.

I got one at Walmart for $19.99. I can't remember the brand but it is a small ceramic one and it works like a hot damn.

We got our Chi from JC Penney in Port Huron and only paid $100 for it which is really cheap since there $200 sometimes $250 in Canada

Hi again, and thanks for all of your suggestions. I wanted to try theBabyliss, but after shopping around, we went to our local mall to a hair salon. They had a new blue CHI with is it Ion, they said better then the original CHI.It was on sale for $149.00, so we bought it. Eventualy I might try the Babyliss and if good, I will give the CHI to DD16.

I have bought 3. DD dropped one and broke the ceramic plates. I bought 2 more, one for me and one for her. They were around $150 at those mall kiosks.
Love it. I have very thick curly hair and works great for me.

I saw that Target (in the US) has the Chi on sale this week for 109.00 I believe, which is a GREAT deal!

Hubby bought me a CHI last week (by mail from the US) after "4 hours of research" according to him. He purchased it from a website called folica.com. The shipping only took about 4 days. I am really happy with it! The price is $85 USD + shipping.

I tell my girls and they just laugh at me...but seriously, touch wood, we are surviving it...overall I am very lucky .They are good girls and they still talk to me, most days...however with each other it can be WWIII!!
I AM however, looking forward to my upcoming Mom and DD trip with my oldest DD age 26

It's seems like I have been planning this forever! (since last Nov.) but now I am starting to panic...keep thinking I forgot something....

I really think I just can't find anymore things to plan and I am in withdrawal can't change anymore ADR's etc...everything is done ...I think
