Marie is always telling me to get in pictures, saying none will be around for those who are there when I'm gone. I think it is a 'dad thing' .

Thank you, everyone. That helped. It's amazing how much help even virtual hugs and prayers are.

Binny -- it's not too soon. Some people have already started emailing me with memories, and though it's hard to read them, it at the same time does help.

RU -- I do cherish the memories of when we took the pictures, especially the recent ones of the trip my dad and I took together to Colorado. I treasure that we have so many pictures that are memories. I just wish we had more that had *him* actually *in* the pictures as well.

I know what you mean .. my MIL took thousands and thousands of pictures... and there are not that many of her.

We have a few, but not that many either. I just look at the photo albums and the videotapes that she made and just smile.. knowing that it was beautiful to her.
