Phew.
I just wish this cancer was gone.

Saturday night,Wednesday night,Thursday night, and this morning were all spent in the ER.
We went back Wednesday because I started have dystonic reactions to some of my meds.
If you Google it,you'll see that they are basically like seizures.
Scary stuff.
So they treated me for that, and also for some low minerals like potassium, but I was eventually free to go home.
Thursday I had a follow-up scheduled with my oncologyst.
So,we drive down to Philadelphia,2 1/2 hours away, get some blood drawn, and the doctor thinks everything is going to be okay.
3/4s of the way home,my mom gets a call on the cell.
We needed to go back to Philly because my minerals were dangerously low, again.
GRRRRR!!
So we go home, pack for a couple days in the hospital, and drive another 2 1/2
hours.
And we're spending the night in the ER because the hospital is full, and there is no room for me.
Geesh.

On a positive note,I got to go out to lunch at Friendly's with my mom Thursday.
The bad thing?
We had to leave early because I started having a dystonic reaction. :headache:

So,how's everyone else doing?
Thanks for letting me vent.

I am sorry to hear of this. I hope that these problems settle down soon.

Today is one year ago that my best friend's mom got diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now a survivor. :)

i'm sorry sonya. you're in my thoughts. I really want you to get better soon. you're so strong!

Hope you feel better soon, those reactions can be scary!

Stay strong and keep smiling, even though its hard/

*sends disney wishes*

sorry to hear what going on but as said above you seem really strong with everything thats going on and you will push through this and will be cancer free :)

my prayers and pixie dust are with you :)

Thanks everyone.
I'm still in the hospital, and I'll probably have to stay overnight again.
My magnesium is still dangerously low,so they're trying to bring that back up.

Does this sound completely silly to everyone?
I keep having to remind myself that I still have cancer.
I keep thinking that because the tumor is gone,so is the cancer, and I don't need chemo.
But we don't know that, they're could be little tumors floating around somewhere, and I still need the chemo.
Ugh,March couldn't get here fast enough!

I'm so sorry to hear about that! I coundn't even imagine what It's like to have to go through that! I hope it gets better soon! :(
