I need 1 more character meal...please help me choose

I have been to all three. In fact I took my 8 year old nephew to all 3. Both of us liked Garden Grill the best. In my opinion 1900 Park Fair is by far the worst of the Three. The character interaction at the G.G. is great. And the Food is very Fresh and Tasty.

Garden Grill or Cape May. Maybe even Tusker House.

1900PF and Akershus are more feminine characters. For boys, I'd look into these.

BTW, there are different characters at 1900 Park Fare depending when you go.

For breakfast, it's Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Tigger & Winnie the Pooh.

For dinner, it's Lady Tremaine, the Stepsisters, Cinderella & Prince Charming.

We choose breakfast as my daughter really wanted to see the first three characters. I wish we had also done dinner. I keep hear so many good stories about character interaction there.

We were early for our breakfast ADR but still had to wait 30-45 minutes as well. It was packed!

Garden Grill is a good selection. And it's the most "boy friendly" of your selections. I don't see many boys enjoying princesses or anything like that. We liked the food options at Garden Grill more than Park Fare or Akershus too.

It was, hands-down, the best character interaction I have ever had.

My little boy turned 5 and we had his bday there. No less than 5 visits with Pluto, who he adores, and Chip and Dale and Goofy even. I even cried because he was so happy- but then the cake came out and he totally forgot all about the characters!!!

Food is delicious.

Another vote for Garden Grille. We have been 3 or 4 times and the character interaction is the best. I personally love the food (esp the salad and the beef). It is a must do for us.

We are going to try 1900 Park Fair for the first time during our next trip in Oct.

Definitely another vote for Garden Grill. We do this EVERY trip and it is awesome. The whole restaurant spins and the kids love it.

I haven't dined at any of them, but I wouldn't count out any princess meals just because you have boys. My DS4 was enamoured with all of the princesses and was very upset that he never got to meet Jasmine.

On our last day, we missed her line by 5 minutes and the CM wouldn't let us in. We had to leave before the next meet & greet time. DS cried for 10 minutes straight. That CMs heart must've been made of stone....but I digress.

I promised DS he'd get to meet Jasmine on our next trip.

I totally agree with you, my nephew had stars in his eyes after the hug and kiss from each princess.

Next trip, you can pretty much count on finding Jasmine, Aladdin and sometimes Genie, at Epcot Morocco, on the lagoon side.

unless they are into princesses then Garden Grill for character interaction. For food we liked Akershus though we have not been to the other two. We really liked Chef Mickey's breakfast and I have heard good things about Tusker House breakfast.

Another vote for Garden Grill! :thumbsup2 Great character interaction, great food, and the atmosphere in the Land is great! The service has always been wonderful as well. :goodvibes

I'm going to move this to the restaurant board.

We've done Garden Grill (back when they offered lunch) and 1900 Park Faire (breakfast).

The Garden Grill food is hearty, and the character interactions are great. We wanted to eat here again on our last trip, but we ended up not being in Epcot often enough, and my DS12 wanted to do Le Cellier for dinner.

We did 1900 Park Faire breakfast on the trip for our first time. The food was outstanding - a huge buffet, omeletes made to your custom order, etc. We saw Pooh and Tigger, Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter. The character interactions were very good here, as well -this meal became a favorite, and we will DEFINITELY do it again.

As a side note - Tusker Hosue breakfast also features an outstanding buffet, with perhaps even more choices than 1900 Park Faire. We'll do it again, as well.

I feel bad for you.:sad2: This is a very tough choice as we have dined at all 3 and all of them are wonderful. 1900 Park Fare is a tradition for us on every trip. We have dinner there our first night, and then hop on over to MK for fireworks and EMH's. Having said that, we LOVED Garden Grill. The food is really good. Home style chicken, fish, and beef with down home sides. All served family style right a your table. The last time we went, for dessert they served some kind of warm apple crisp thing that was out of this world yummy. (It got better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!):rotfl: And to top it all off, the whole restaurant spins as you dine and overlooks the Living with the Land ride down below! We've repeated this restaurant several times and I'm sure your boys would just LOVE it! Good luck.:goodvibes

We really enjoyed GG w/our 2.5 yr old DS. You get visited by each of the characters at least 3-4 times. Chip n Dale played around w/us alot too. DS is now 6 yrs old & still remembers Dale playing peekaboo w/his napkin. He also remembers the decorate your own cupcake dessert, which kept him occupied for awhile so we could eat. The food was okay, not the best ever, except for the corn bread. LOVED that stuff! We did like that it was all you can eat, but didn't have to go get it ourselves.
There is a wall in the center & the restaurant rotates in a circle in the Land Pavilion.
