WOW... I have not been on the DIS in a few days.. have some catching up to do.

Anyways, last saturday my friend Lia and I went to WDW - MK, DHS, and Epcot in particular. While in Epcot, I had the urge to try something new (which does not come to me frequently, FYI) lol.

I turn to my friend Lia and said, "I wanna ride Test Track" as I had never been on it before. As soon as we get to the entrance (Standby - 50 mins, Singles - 10), I start to get nervous and wanting to chicken out, but I proceed forward.

I LOVED every second of TT! It truly is one of the best rides they have at Epcot and is like my new favorite ride at the park.

List of Favorite Rides at Epcot:

1 - TT
2 - SSE
3 - UoE
4 - Imagination
5 - Gran Fiesta Tour

Hey! That's great! Test Track is a fun one, isn't it!? :thumbsup2

Before you know it you'll be trying Mission Space! :goodvibes

You're better off starting with Big Thunder Mountain, then working your way through Splash Mountain to Space Mountain. After that Expidition Everest will be waiting, followed by the Rock 'n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith!

And if you go on Goofy's Barnstormer in MIckey's Toontown Fair, it's actually the "fastest" coaster in the MK. One of the turns is actually 3 G's, and the fastest turn on Space Mountain is only 2 G's. :thumbsup2

Good for you. I love TT - nice thrill.

Next thing you know you'll be booking a trip to Cedar Point, home of some REAL roller coasters! :cool1:

You are SO brave... I have never been on Test Track or Space Mountain...or RnR...or Expedition Everest. My daughter and one of her band-mates are making noise like they be going with us for part of our WDW wing-ding in March. If they go, they will certainly do their level best to get me on one of 'em, I'm sure. If you see two semi-goth girls dragging an old white-haired lady into a rollercoaster queue, you might just wanna think fer a minute about maybe gettin' into a different line... There will be hollerin, perhaps some cussin' and hopefully no loss of bladder control (no promises on this last one though :guilty: )

Test Track is nothing, I drive faster than that on the way to work! :woohoo:

Now this is something to be afraid of! :scared1:
OK -- watched the whole video and didn't pee my pants (fairly significant personal milestone here) BUT...

Didja notice...

NO FLIPPIN' INSPECTION CATWALKS ALONG MOST OF THE TRACK!!!!!! One of my work specialties is failure analysis and you can have electronics, NDT, you name it out the wazoo -- but nuthin...NUTHIN... takes the place of good ole regular (daily at least), well-documented, up-close, visual and hands-on inspections. one last word: ENTROPY. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: (LOL!)

Cedar Point takes safety very seeriously. The rides are actually X-rayed every winter for any flaws, and are inspected visually every morning. In 137 years of operation Cedar Point has never had a ride related death!:rolleyes1

Besides, this guy rides every morning to make sure everythin is Ok! :thumbsup2

Wow, talk about interesting, hehe. Well, I love BTMR. I hate Splash and will always have a long hated for that ride...long story. I think I am ready to ride Space since I saw a YouTube video with lights on and it doesn't look TOO bad.
