I miss Disney, we took a beach vacation close to home this past summer, (thats when we decided to buy DVC) so we didn't go do Disney and I miss everything about it, the heat of summer, the smells, the sounds and the feeling I get while I'm there. July just isn't coming fast enough, it will be my first trip in DVC, I am so excited.

OH I know how you feel, we just love when we walk into BWV we know that we are now at a place we want to be all the time. Stayed in a villa off site and its the biggest regret we had made, never again. We will always stay at a DVC resort now especially BWV.

Time between visits always seems to take forever... while time there flies!

So very true!! We were there this past November and it seems like forever ago. This year the family has decided to rent a cabin in the Smokies for our annual trip. No WDW until 2012! Whatever will I do? :scared1:

I have not been since August 2009, and as soon as we opened the door to our room at the beach I realized there was no way I would not vacation anywhere but WDW ever again. I missed it to much. Just counting my days until I'm home again.

Boy, do I know how you feel. We're members since '92 and went to WDW at least once a year since then and did many trips prior to that.

Last trip was December 2007. My DH had a stroke in May 2008 and he doesn't want to return to WDW because it won't be the same for him. He's able to walk with a cane and really doesn't want to use anything motorized. It's painful for him to stand still so he can't wait in line. Also, he won't fly and I don't think the drive from PA would be a smart move.

Soooooo. Last year we had two sons get married and we gave each of them their Honeymoon at WDW. This year another son will use some time and so will our daughter.

I keep hoping that one day he'll surprise me and say let's go to Disney.

I want to go back so bad but our next trip isn't until the last week of September. The sliver linings to this are we are going to HHI in late April and we will be going home to BWV in Sep.

I miss WDW too
We've been going almost every year since 1999, but last year we didn't go, and won't be going this year either because of financial issues :sad1:
Hope to be back "home" in 2012!

Lizanne, so sorry that you can't visit your 'happy place.' It's great that your kids are still able to enjoy it with their loved ones, though, and hopefully you will be able to go back sometime in the future. Good luck!:)

We'll be there in Oct. for F & W and my DB and DSIL will be there at the same time to celebrate their 25th anniversary :thumbsup2. When I was talking to him on the phone last night he mentioned that they haven't been there in FOUR YEARS. There is NO WAY I could do that.:rolleyes1

We go 2 out of every 3 years so yes I feel your pain. We are headed back in July also but this time we are doing 3 trips in 12 months (one short one before Thanksgiving to see the christmas lights) We do all 3 trips on one AP to save $ so that tends to drive our schedule (plus I want to go to Hawaii for our next "off year", last year we did 2 outer banks vacations).

Last visit was in January 2009 for 9 days....Due to job changes and other stuff we skipped last year. This winter has been heck-ish weatherwise so we decided we needed to get away sooner vs. later --- 6 days @ Kidani starting April 28. WOOT!:cool1:

I, too, miss being at WDW. We usually go 3-4 times a year. Last year we were there in January, May, September, and November.

We have around 32 days to go until we are back down to our happy place and can not wait to get there. I miss it so much. I just love to be at WDW to walk around enjoying the sites, sounds and smells.

We'll be home soon SSR!

We had a cabin in the Smokies for Thanksgiving week last year....it was a wonderful experience. :thumbsup2

 Me too!! So much I'm starting to plan trips out to 2013. I need some SUN!!!

We just got back over 2 months ago. It was a WDW/DCL trip. It feels like forever until we go again. We go back April 13th for an Adults only trip for F&G and will enjoy our first stay at BWV!

Oh I am sorry you haven't made it to WDW since 2007. :sad1: I hope he will surprise you one day with a trip. My dad had a stroke in 2009 and it is hard for him to get around now so I now how you feel.

We have been members since 1993 and now travel just the two of us and love going spring, late summer and December. December seems so long ago now. April trip is not coming soon enough.
