Hello. My grandma passed away yesterday, and I'm feeling a little blue. :sad1:

I'm thankful I got see her one last time (she lives far away), and I even introduced her to my son, her great-grandson. :)

I am so sorry. I am glad you got to show her your son. I will keep you in my prayers.

I am so sorry on the passing of your grandmother. I understand you missing her.

Grandmothers hold such a special place in our hearts, don't they.:lovestruc There will never be such a special woman for me. When I think of her now (after 20 years), it is always with a smile remembering the warm beautiful person she was to everyone.

I think it is wonderful that she got to meet her great grandson!! That must have been extra special.:)

Thank you all for your kind words. :flower3:

Sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother. Mine passed a few years ago and I remember exactly how hard it was to get through it. We will keep you in our prayers. God bless you and your family.

Hang in there. I lost my dear GM 3 years ago & it took me a long time until I could think of her without crying. I used to turn her pictures in towards the wall because I cried when I saw them. Now I have many pictures of her around the house, and I touch them & smile & have wonderful, happy thoughts of her. I still miss her dearly, and I understand how hard it can be. But for me, as time passed I felt better, and I hope you will too.

Did your dear GM have any sisters? I urge you to get in touch with them if she did. Mine had 4, and I knew them but was never close with any of them. Since my GM's death I try to see them & keep in touch when I can (we all live a few hours apart) - I feel comfort being around them, and see parts of my GM in each of them. I really enjoy the time I spend with them.

No, GM's siblings have all passed on. She was the last of them. I miss her a lot, but it is very comforting to hear similar experiences.

Thanks again, everybody. :)
