i miss disney!

my fiance and i are going to las vegas in april to get married and because of this we do not have another trip to orlando planned.
i really want to go later this year but we decided we were going to have a year off and also because of our wedding we cant really afford it.
our next trip will be in either 2008 or 2009 but it is such a long time to wait.i am really missing the magic of disney already even though we were there last october but it seems like a lifetime ago.
it would be different if we had a trip planned then i would be looking forward to it but my fiance doesnt want to book anything yet
i suppose i will just have to keep coming on here everyday!

Firstly congratulations on the wedding!
Ive been told Las Vagas is a bit like Disney, in the sense that it is 'larger than life' and there is a lot to see! Would love to go one day. Can you not take a few days out to see Disneyland in LA?

Anyway, I can totally sympathise with the no trip planned. I've been told that I am not 'allowed' to go to wdw until 2009!! Apparently going to Disneyworld 3 times in 4 years is too much (who are they kidding?! )

I think there are a few of us on here with no trip planned for the immediate furture- We can all support each other

I know where you are coming from. Ok I am lucky that I have been every year for the last 13 years (so DH tells me daily) but due to weddings and having school age kids we cant fit it in. I just want to go (stamps feet). I want to be sitting in DTD right now with a cinnamon pretzal and frozen lemonade.

You still have lot to be excited about - I would love to go to Las Vegas.Enjoy planning your big day and it will comearound soooooo quickly

as we are only in las vegas for one week we wont be able to make to disneyland as there will be so much for us to do in las vegas.
the thought did cross my mind but my fiance wont go as he wants see as much as we can in vegas and we are supposed to be having a year off from disney
its nice to know other people are in the same situation as me

Maybe you could fit in a weekend break to DLRP to get some of the disney magic!

I was thinking the same as Laura: Perhaps a DLP weekend break is a possibility? Me and bf did that last year and while it isn't WDW it is a fab little Disney fix

Maybe its the grey depressing skies, but I really feel the disney sickness today! I would give up a lot today, to just be in the florida sunshine and enjoying myself in the parks. Sigh. I can't wait 2 years to go back!

Might write a bit more trip report, though not sure reminding me of the great time we had will make it better! Lol!
