I met Kelly Ripa at WDW

My family and I went up for the day on Saturday. Decided to do Epcot, and MGM. So were in Epcot around 2:00 and there, in the outpost I see 'guest relations' vests. And i think to myself, hmm either theyre just here, or theyre with someone important (and rich) So i look around the 2 guest relations guys and there wearing a black tank top, white shorts and BIG black sunglasses, fighting with her little boy about something he wants, is Kelly Ripa. Her husbend, Mark Conswaylo (sp?) is ushering out one of their other kids who is throwing a fit.

So I turn to my mom and say "OMG mom, its Kelly Ripa" and my mom is like "where!!?" and we look over and my mom is like "you need to go over there and meet her!!!" To which I say... no mom....shes on vaca. I dont want to bother her. But she says "yeah but shes a celeb. shes used to people recognozing her, how many times are you gonna get to meet her?"

So just at thar moment, the child she has in the stroller pitches a small bear. And i immeiatly walked over, picked it up, and bent down and gave it to the child. The guest relations people almost jumped on me, to which i realize now, it could have looked like I was stealing the bear. But Kelly thanked me, and I told her that I enjoyed her on regis and kelly, and on Hope and faith. And asked for a picture. VERY matter-of-fact she says sure and my mom couldnt get out camera to turn on. So she faked a picture, as Kelly seemed agitated, and wanting to catch up with her hubby. I thanked her profusely, and told her to have a great day.

I didnt realize just how skinny that girl is... She was TINY!!! But very beautiful, even without makeup.

Later on that day, I ended up meeting DISmember Liznboys (my first dismember meet!!!) and her family, At the British Invasion. That was almost cooler than metting Kelly.... She was so nice and her kids were adorable!

Anyway... Just thought I'd share!!! Too bad about my mom - the digital camera impaired - but still.... after all the buzz on the board about Regis and Kelly.... HOW COOL!!!??

Thats great. I have been to a taping in NYC and saw them taping the Christmas parade but not an actual meet. She seems real nice.

I went to one of hope and faith tapings and met every cast member except for the older girl. She seemed very conceited and left immediately after. All of the cast of Hope and Faith were very nice. My mom was in a wheelchair, sciatica nerve, and each one of them gave us autographs. Kelly was very nice. She is very, very tiny. And she is as perky off stage as she is on stage.

Wow that is awesome. I know some stars are really down to earth when you meet them. We met a famous baseball player once and he held the door open for my kids at the hotel etc. My ds were speechless! We were not camera impared and the security guards were all over us too. We were at the crystal palace the other week and one of those "vests" kept hovering around one family near us, I thought it was very strange. Alot of us started looking at them and he quietly went to the front door. It was NY spring break and I cant help wonder if it was someone famous. The way the cm was all over them at their beck and call etc, made it seem that way.

YAY! I met Kelly too and she is a sweetheart!
