I met a fellow DVCer/DISer today

I was in a Disney Store in Massachusetts, when I got chatting with another shopper about loving Disney, and trips we've made, and being DVC members, when she asked me if I knew of the Disboards! Cool! Her name is "momoftwins", and I'd just like to say how fun it was to meet her. I've met many DISers in the past, but they were, for the most part, planned meets, or I met them at WDW by way of lime green ribbons. Meeting someone at the mall was a total surprise. OK, it WAS in a Disney Store, but still unexpected.

I agree. It's always such a joy to meet fellow DISers and DVC owners. Unfortunately, very few live near us, so I don't often get to meet others, except as planned at WDW, or if they see my lime green. In all my trips, with my lime green Mickey heads waving from various things I'm wearing, I've never met another DISer wearing lime green (except as pre-arranged). But I agree, it's always so much fun when you do meet!

That's exciting Us crazy DISers tend to hang out at the Disney Store...well at least I do!

I met my first DISer while riding a bus to SSR last year. We just started chatting and found out we both LOVED the DIS!!

I'd LOVE to meet fellow DVCers in my area, but unfortunately, I live in a DVC wasteland. No one even knows what it means! Very few people in my neck of the Ozarks go to WDW more than once or twice in their lives, if they're lucky. Off site. In their RVs. There's not a big Disney resort crowd in these parts, much less DVC. I think we're it. This is why I love the DIS.

But I'll give it a try anyway....HEY! ARE THERE ANY DVCers NEAR ROARING RIVER STATE PARK IN MISSOURI??

I met a DVCer while at the accident reporting centre he is a police officer that works there he noticed my DVC shirt and asked where we owned it was kind of funny really.

It was so nice to meet you! I told my DH that when you asked me if I was crazy for Disney too, I'm thinking I could talk her ear off . Little did I know, you are just as crazy!

BTW, we broke down and booked a trip for 8/26 - 9/1. In order to fit in this trip, we will stay at the POP (we used up all of our DVC points ). I told me DH, I can hear DVC points screaming our names!
