I met a DISer yesterday!

Met some DISers at the recent Boston meet.

Also met Melissa (Melk) in the bathroom at Logan airport. Also saw her and her family at the Magic Kingdom one day.

I had two DISers arrange to meet in my store one night about two years ago...sure enough, my coworker and I were also DISers and had a great laugh about it. Thanks to Wagamama and CrazyBoutDisney (Beth), I'm a yaya!

I met up with Beth and Elaine (Helenabear) at WDW this past May. On the same trip, I was wearing my DIS pin and someone at the next table at 'Ohana approached me to find out who I was on the boards. We didn't recognize each other (I think she's a DVC girl and I'm not-yet), but it was nice.

Another coworker transferred into my store and the first day she was there, she says "I've got a really strange question...are you Poohnatic on the DIS?" Ends up we knew each other from here for almost two years before we worked together!

I had the opportunity to meet a fellow DISer when I had gone to Vegas. We had met her and her daughters for lunch and we spent some time after that.

I think that a lot of posters feel like you especially at first. You just have to make that first step and you find out that most DISers are nice. But truthfully, it's still a little spooky.

I've met some DISers, both in Texas and at WDW. I particularly enjoyed those I met in Florida because those happened to be great people that I've known here and at OLP for a VERY long time.

I've had the pleasure of meeting DIS'ers a number of times:

*one Chicago are DIS meet at Gurnee Mills

*one WDW DIS meet at MVMCP last December

*two DIS meets for the DVC Member Cruise (one at the hotel the night before and one on the ship)

*one DIS meet during DVC Member Homecoming this past May

*also planning to meet lots of DIS'ers on our 10 day cruise that sails in 12 weeks. We've been talking on the cruise meets board for over a year! I've already met a couple of them at small little DISmeets in the past year.

I've been to some meets up this way. Also one this past spring in WDW.

Kendra, all I had to "wear" was a lime green shoe string I had tied to my waist pack. Well PerfectMatch300 and husband were walking along in EPCOT when Barry stopped by to ask if I was a DISer. We ended up meeting later with others at a mini meet and also had dinner together. It was a great way to meet.

I've since bought some things, but the shoe lace will be with me as well.

To answer your question, YES!! Obviously...LOL! I've also met Sleepy and Shugardrawers. I have to say that each DISer I've met has been GREAT!! Let's see who we meet today at Busch Gardens.

I saw a piece of lime-green ribbon on our first day at WDW this past January (actually in our first hour at our first park!). Wish I could remember her Dis name.... "Tink" something. Anyhow, that was all I saw the entire trip!! And I wore my lime-green HD Mickey head every day, but no one approached me! .....P

Haven't met one single soul and I'm bummed over it! In fact, I approached what I hoped were Disers in DTD and they ran from me!!!
