I met a DISer yesterday!

I've only met one DIS'er--Pop Daddy.

Yes, I've met lots! Unfortunately, I can't remember them all! I do remember that the first ones I met locally were Wheelsie (where is she now?) and Becka.

And the first one I met at WDW was Dan, who soon introduced my DH and I to a bunch more! So glad I was able to pick you out of that crowd, Dan!

I am shy also about just going up to someone with a green ribbon. I did once, though, and was able to talk to Leota and Beverly for a few minutes. I always worry, what if they just happen to LIKE green ribbons and never heard of the DIS?

I recall that, Debbie, at Wonders of Life, and several times since. As for Wheels, I have not seen her in ages, maybe a year or more.

I've only met one, SConnell, who happens to work at a school near my workplace that my boss' kids go to. I work in a bakery, and she came in to pick up some cupcakes for her dd's birthday. Hi Sunny!

A bunch at the Jerry Meet in Boston last spring. And when we were at BWV in mid-August (15-21) I saw a man with one of the lime green Dis plastic waterproof thingies at the pool. But by the time I actually realized what I had seen, he was gone.

I've been to a couple of DIS meets plus I've met a special friend DISer a couple of times at Disney.

I've only met one, TigerFan (Lisa). She had an extra PS for Cinderella's Royal Table that she gave to me. Since she, Lynn and Emily were going to be there at the same time, I was on the lookout for a green ribbon. I never saw a ribbon, but as luck would have it, she ended up asking me to take a pic of them. After talking for a minute, I figured out who they were. It was great to meet them!

I also briefly met a guy at Epcot who posts exclusively on the pin trading boards. I don't remember his name, but he saw my greeen ribbon and asked if I were a DISer. He had HUNDREDS of pins on a vest he was wearing.

Jill... was that Daber? He wears a vest with a lot of pins on it. Very very nice man - his wife is wonderful too.

Conservative estimate - I have met over 200 DISers.
