I messed up a photopass cd pre-order.. Resolved

I bought my DS & DDIL the photopass cd thru pre-order and charged to my cc. I could have sworn I set it up using DS's email addie and password. Of course I didn't write down the order # or if I did it was on a scrap of paper that I can't find. I called photopass and they looked for an order under every email addie I could think I might use, no luck. I sent an email to photopass also but have not heard back (impatient). Before I call Visa, I thought I'd wait to hear back from photopass. Not sure what Visa can do. I thought if I dispute the charge, photopass may find the transaction. Can you think of anything else I could try?

They found my purchase and linked it to the correct email address.

They send multiple e-mails about it, so I'm thinking some e-mail account of someone you know has gotten those e-mails. Have you checked your junk mail folder? If you already talked to them and they have no record of it, I don't think you have much recourse.

How would they even be able to give you a credit if you don't know that information.

Another thought - it's possible (just possible) that your credit card statement has a transaction # on it - normally it would say Disney photopass and the date in the description line on the CC statement. Perhaps there's a number there that they (Photopass) could track it by. That's the only possibility I can think of.

The "no email" should have been a red flag but I bought it right before Christmas and got caught up in other things. (I think I typed a bogus email address by mistake and don't have a clue what I typed.) My DS just came back from WDW and it is time to deal with the photopass so I am just tracking the purchase now. I do have the transaction number on cc. I was going to ask Visa to track that if "no joy" from photopass email. Thanks for your help.
