Recieved mine from Nicurn yesterday.........thanks for the cookie cutters, sprinkles (can't wait to try the gingerbread boy ones....ds has already sampled them) and recipes. Those sugar cookies sound great!! I had a good recipe for sugar cookies and lost it, so these sound really good. And of course the chocolate chip ones are always welcome. One question about the peanut butter ones...no flour? Do they melt all over?

I received my package today from Poppins.....A BIG OLD SOUTHERN THANK YOU..........to Sherry. The box was full of wonderful goodies. A very nice hardbound edition of Betty Crockers Cookie Book, a cookie sheet and spatula, sweet leaf cookie cutters, shopping list pad and a very nice cookbook holder. You were most generous.....I do appreciate this....and just in time for my 50th birthday (16th). I can't wait to try the creme wafers.

Yay! I got my box from Jenny2 yesterday! It contained a recipe for "Mary's Mother's Snowballs" and for "Giant Chocolate-Toffee Cookies." The box also had some of the ingredients for the Chocolate-Toffee cookies (nuts, baking chocolate, and 5 Heath bars). I'm going to have to bake those very, very soon, because the Heath bars were calling my name last night (but I resisted).
The snowballs will be a treat because everyone knows that here in Houston, we don't get any "real" snowballs!

Included recipes for Split Seconds, Brown Sugar Cutouts, Eggnog Snickerdoodles and Melting Moments. They all sound so good!!

Also included was a wooden spoon, an angel cookie cutter, rum extract, powdered sugar and strawberry jam all packed in a plastic container.
Everything will be put to good use!!

A great big southern THANK YOU to MrsAPalm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DD called me at work to tell me that I had a package arrive today. I thought it was from the YC exchange. I had completely forgotten about the recipe exchange! Man, this box was even better than Yankee Candles!!!!!!!!!! In the box was a very beautiful bag full of cookie cutters, a small box of mini cookie cutters, a pkg of shortbread, a wonderful pkg of brownie mix(which I will fix this weekend, because the kids will be gone and I can enjoy the entire batch), a cute little stocking with a YC Christmas Cookie votive inside and many wonderful cookie recipes. I can't wait to try them!!!!!!!Thank you again MrsAPalm!!!! I loved everything!!!!!!!!!!!!
