I made the leap to concierge!!

I finally did it!! I booked concierge at the AK for 6 nights, Jan 9-15. We follow it with a week in the Boardwalk Villas, one bedroom!! I am so excited!! This is the longest trip to Disney yet!! Now I do hope the AP's come out so I can adjust my concierge rate, but if not, OH WELL!!!! It is a special two weeks as well, my DH turns 37 (ooohhhh!!) , my DS turns 5 and we are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary!!
Now I need to book the sunrise safari, a specialty cruise and the pirate cruise for DS. I was thinking of doing Cindy's Castle for breakfast, but I don't think DS will "get it".
Who else will be there???!!!!

I won't be there, but I am very happy for you! I LOVE AKL's concierge! I would like it to be my "home", but I can't seem to get work/family/life to make it happen! Have a wonderful trip!

You are going to absolutely LOVE AKL CL. It is the best! I also love the Boardwalk Inn - I'm sure the Villas are fabulous, too. You have a lot of fun and decadence in your future
I'm hoping to spend my 35th birthday at AKL CL in February I'd like a suite so that my friends and I can stay in one room...AKL RULES!

Hey, welcome to the Lizards - come join us at the Lizard Lounge!

I, too, am looking forward to my very first CL stay, and my first stay altogether at AKL. We're staying onsite 7 nights; five at POR, and two secret surprise nights at AKL CL. My girls know nothing about that, they think we have five days at Disney World and that's it.

I have had wonderful communication with AKL, although I already had lots of my stuff planned and mapped out.

It's very exciting, isn't it? AKL sounds like just the most wondeful, exotic place. I can't wait. I'm very happy this special trip of yours is going to be at such a special location!

It will be our first as well. We are staying at the BWI and just changed our ressie to Deluxe Concierge. Needless to say I am excited Now if only my counter was down to 31 days instead of 410

I'll be there in concierge part of that time too. We arrive toward the end of your stay at AKL.

Does anyone know when the concierge staff will contact us to help set up our priority seatings, etc? I am not too concerned about getting the times I want, especially this time of year. I am looking forward to them helping us. We've stayed concierge at other hotels, but this is a dream!!
