I Made My Own DIS Pin!

I wanted to share my DIS pin idea with everyone. I got the alien green Mickey ears from Home Depot (free). Then went to Michael's (craft store) and purchased Kelly's 3 1/2"Reusable Fun Buttons ($1.49 each) and one sheet of vine black decorative paper ($0.59). I cut black circles, glued the Mickey ears on top and inserted them inside the clear pin case. I made my own DIS pins and they look great!! I'm leaving in the morning for BCV. Be back in a week. Great idea! I have a bunch of the lime green Mickey heads that I was going to make nametags for our reunion trip in October. I will try your idea!! Thanks

We had a great time. DS and DH would not wear my buttons but I wore mine almost every day - although I only met one DIS member (a pin trader). Any way, the pin worked fine and I am leaving them in my suitcase for our next trip. I have posted a few replies about our trip and would be happy to answer any questions.
