I Made It!

Hey everyone!

I made it down to Disney for the CP (only took 20 hours driving!)! Checkin was yesterday and I had my I.D. picture taken and got my housing stuff. I'm in Chatham with 7 other girls. It's a very sweet place! And we're right next to the outlet mall that has a Dooney and Bourke and Coach store! YES! Today I got my training schedule and such...I still don't know where I'll be working or who I'm going to be(because I'm got the character performer role) but that'll come soon enough. The weather down here is great! 76 and sunny!

Well, I guess that's about it for now! I'm done for the day and then I've got Traditions tomorrow!

Wow, since when has the college program been giving out character roles as a position? I had only one friend that stayed on as a character, but that was after she went through the college program (I worked with her in the Emporium) - she had to stay for entire year to be a character. She was Cinderella, Snow White, and Bell.

How did you get that position? From what I remember they had strict guide lines like specific bone structure for face characters, and specific height for the other characters.

Actually, there have been character performer CPs for awhile. There are several character height ranges- for both fur and face. And yes- they are VERY strict about the face character guidelines.

It really wasn't hard to memorize at all, the acting took a little bit of effort, but the hardest part is trying to pretend to steer, actually drive the boat, and talk into the microphone at the same time.

We probably passed eachother - me going north, you south. It took me around 19 hours. Cruise was set, and i wasn't stoppin!

Hey everyone! I love it here, I don't ever want to leave. Sure it sucks waking up at 5am for training, but it's just so much fun.

I'm living with my friend from home, Kelly!, in Chatham 5104.

AND!!! I work at Splash Mountain!!! I almost passed out when I found that out. It was definetley my dream location to work at. Even though 101s, intrusions, and all that other stuff sucks. It's Splash, one of the most popular attractions in all of the World.
