Hi,

I have been lurking again reading but not posting but just had to share my excitement. :woohoo: Sunday was ADR day. Now I had been reading up on all the trouble everyone was having on-line by trying to use the Disney website but I didn't let that put me off :rotfl:. On Sunday morning at precisely 11am (our time - 6am Eastern time) I pulled out my husbands IPad and grabbed my list. I didn't bother trying to link my reservation as I too had no luck when I had tried this previously. Instead I went straight to make dining reservations and simply linked my reservation through that screen. It worked :cloud9:. I was then able to make the first 10 days worth of reservations. The only one I needed to call to make was my Fantasmic one. I have been making further reservations daily and only have 1 more to do tomorrow. Happy Days :cool1:.

Below is what we have booked:

(Incidentally, we are a party of 9 and we are traveling with friends ( who have never visited before) - we are staying at Disney's Beach Club and have a preference for buffets due to the fact that our children prefer to be able to have a little of everything rather than stick to one dish).

Cape May Beach Cafe - character breakfast and a dinner reservation
Crystal Palace - character breakfast and dinner
Tusker House - character breakfast
Raglan Road - dinner ( this is my favourite )
Garden Grill - character dinner ( never done this before )
Hollywood & Vine - Fantasmic dinner
O'hanas - character breakfast
Chef Mickeys - character breakfast and dinner
Be Our Guest - dinner ( this was the first reservation I made! )
Rose & Crown - dinner ( so we can get a good view of the Illuminations )
Via Napoli - dinner ( never done this before )

I also booked T-Rex as there are 4 boys in our group ( as well as two older ones!) :rotfl:. This one I called direct to get.

I was chuffed to bits with all these. It was certainly quicker than calling.

Good luck to everyone else hoping to make their reservations in next few days....:thumbsup2

I'm happy that at least someone has been able to get on-line to book their ADRs! :thumbsup2 I'm still phoning everyday! Luckily I only have two more to do! :woohoo: You've got some really good choices. Only a couple of them that we haven't eaten at and we've really enjoyed the meals that we've had at the others! :goodvibes

How exciting! We did Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Garden Grill, 'Ohana, Chef Mickey and Rose and Crown. Looks like we have similar tastes! Loved them all. My children's favourite was Chef Mickeys.:thumbsup2

Thanks Catherine. I don't envy you making those daily phone calls. :confused3 I was on hold for 24 minutes yesterday when I called to book the Pirate and Pals fireworks voyage. Hopefully it will be worth it :rotfl2:

Where have you made reservations for? Did you get everything you wanted? This is the first time I haven't had to re-do our plans to fit around our ADR's :cool1:

Can't wait to see Be Our Guest. I have made my daughter a Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique reservation for the afternoon so she can look her best for the Beast :scared1:

Thanks Juliette. We all enjoyed Chef Mickeys on our last visit too. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it was such good fun and we never had any issues with the food. Kids loved the fact they could keep on going back for seconds:rotfl2:

I think I have recently read your trip report - sounds like you had a wonderful time. It was lovely to see how your youngest warmed to the characters. Best of luck with your saving. :thumbsup2

So far I've been able to get everything that I wanted and all but one at the times I wanted. I thought that it was going to be a lot more difficult getting ADRs in Aug, but I guess not!

You DD will love BBB! princess:

It's good to hear a success story! I think I need some good luck though. Having never eaten in a Disney restaurant never mind making an ADR I'm finding it a bit daunting. Fingers crossed on Thursday that it works for me! I don't know about anyone else but my family and friends think I'm bonkers trying to sort out where I want to eat in August when it's only February, they just don't get it! Ha.

Glad you managed to book them online, I just checked again as we still have a couple more to do and it's still not working for me :confused3

We had to ring up T-Rex direct too as they only seem to show 3pm or 9.30pm sittings online, but we managed to get one at 6pm :thumbsup2

To the person that has booked Pirates and Pals, what number did you call for the booking? Is it something that can be booked via the UK 0800 number or only by calling the US directly? Just trying to work out if I can blag doing it at work.

Thanks

This gives me hope for Sunday!

I think I will still phone for BOG but I might chance my arm with a couple of the others online earlier on Sunday before I phone.

WHen you say you didnt link your reservation to start with, do you mean you just jumped on the site without loggin in, then went to book your dining and when it says "oh this is more than 180 days away" just stick in your reservation number there?

K

To those who managed to book online, did you, by any chance, book your package through the US website, or through a travel agent ?

seems like the +10 problem is linked to bookings made with WDTC-UK

Hi,

That is exactly what I did - Best of luck! :thumbsup2

I've managed to do most of mine on-line with the +10 no problem, and I'd booked with WDTC UK. Emailed them previously and got 12 digit reservation number to use for ADRs. They all showed up on the MDE app as well once made.

Had to phone to do Fantasmic! dining and Hoop de Doo, and also weirdly couldn't get any availability on anything on line for 2nd Nov - not sure why, maybe because its my check out day?

Been answered instantly both times I've called and they couldn't have been nicer. Just waiting to do fireworks viewing, as not released for my dates yet apparently....

Good luck all.

Sency xx

As above - we booked through Disney UK and I just made +10 reservations.

I'd emailed them a few weeks ago to get the 12 digit resort confirmation. However, I might be missing something, but the only way I could check it was to go to disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan and click on the My Reservations link on right of the page, near the top.

Then go through the Find Missing Reservation procedure.

It's driving me mad but there doesn't seem to be any way of getting to that from the Disney page which is presented to UK residents. You always seem to end up at a Booking page which basically just shows a copy of your booking.

One tip - for character and signature dining you have to put in your credit card and address details. The country list has United Kingdon under G (Great Britain) - I was going mad trying to find it!

Also once I'd entered my credit card number I copied it to save typing it in each time. It's really annoying to have to enter the credit card and address and 'phone number info each time too. Maybe I'm missing something there though.
