I made a big decision today

I completed my N-400 (Citizenship Application) form today. I have packaged all the documents together and will send it all out tomorrow morning.

Now to arrange a Citizenship ceremony on the steps of Cinderella Castle.

Good for you! The Citizenship ceremony for my husband left something to be desired. I had seen the ceremony that takes place on July 4th with all the hoopla and somehow thought it would be, I don't know bigger than it was, even though it was happening in Seattle, nope! Don't forget to bring a camera because that is what the USCIS agents kept saying...."This is a Kodak moment!"

Congratulations!!!

I was able to witness a citizenship ceremony for someone who worked at my children's school. They held an assembly for it and it was wonderful. The children sang patriotic songs and there wasn't a dry eye among any of the adults who were there.

I think I remember reading that the Dis podcast team did a report about a July 4th ceremony at WDW a few years ago. You might want to see if you can find it - I'm sure they would have lots of good information about it!
