Is there any chance they might be coming back?

I read somewhere that they had a contract with Busch Gardens. Boy did Disney mess that one up! I too was looking forward to seeing this after seeing many peoples videos here on the DIS. Oh well, I guess I'll just spend some money at Busch Gardens!

I heard the same thing as well. Disney opted not to renew the contract. Big mistake in my book. It was THE highlight of our last vacation. We stayed for at least 1/2hr watching her. She was amazing. :flower:

I saw them several times. Great show. I'm glad that they circulate acts in and out though, so it isn't the same thing everytime I visit.

I loved & admired the way she would gently tease folks.
Never cheap laughs just
good fun & with respect-
this was a highlight of our past trip & we were very sad to learn WDW let them go!
we will go to Busch Gardens when we are sure they are there--looking forward to seeing them in a different environment-

I thought I read that Le Mime Roland is gone also? Can anyone report if there are new performers at Epcot?

What a loss for WDW! I thought I saw them in January. When did they leave?

DS and I definitely saw them in January too. WDW may circulate acts in and out, but these days it seems as if far more acts are goin "out" than "in". I noticed this especially this past summer when I was at DL for the first time. For one thing, they still have the Main Street Band out there. There's so many more live entertainment offerings out there than at WDW. Part of the reason I noticed is that DS was working musical entertainment in the parks and there were so many more acts! The Main Street Band even rides the riverboat at one point. There are so many non-published bands out there, it's wonderful!

Totally agree. I loved Roland le Mine and the Living Statues. I did start a little flurry here though a few months ago when I said that it seemed that there was less entertainment at WS at least in the off season :rolleyes1

I found a times guide for Sep 04 (low season) recently while cleaning, and compared it to Apr 05 and there was definitely less and fewer performances this past April

I agree with you about DL too. I love going Saturday night and watching the swing dancing. Some of the guests are from back in 1955, and they have been regulars for years. As their spouses get old or sadly pass away, the teenagers have stepped in as new partners for them. It's a great little community, and something special to DL.

:( I didn't know that they were gone! I loved the living statues and we saw the most beautiful Le Rolan Mime performace in Epcot, I'm really going to miss that, too.
