I loved the ending of Joe Millionaire!

I also loved the ending. I too had picked Zora from the very first show.

The creative editing did crack me up though. I loved when they were doing the part on Sara they didn't really show her doing anything good, but did show "staged" photos of her bondage films. Then when they showed Zora's piece they showed her helping the elderly across the street, then showed her picture with flowers all around it. They really tried to make it look like good vs. evil.

It was interesting that the producers thought it was necessary to have someone help Sara pack. No one else seemed to need any help when they left. And who better to help than the cattiest one of all. It was briliant!

I thought it was really sweet when he said "I hope the ring fits, I don't want to shove it on and hurt you". It would be nice if they ended up happily together. It should be interesting next week though!

I was so pleased with the outcome of the show!

The thing that made me laugh was during the first hour when they interviewed some of the girls they talked to Melissa who said that the money wouldn't have mattered to her. She thought she had a connection to Evan which was more important than the $50 million. But later, when they brought her back to help Sara pack she was busting a gut about how he doesn't have the $50 million. Anyone else catch that?

I also laughed at conversation between Sara and Melissa when they thought no one would know what they were saying. It sure lends more creedance to the thoughts that Sara and Evan were doing more than kissing in the woods!

I LOVED the ending! Esp. when Evan told Sarah that he didn't have $50M and she said "do you think I was just after the money" and then he told he that he didn't pick her - the look on her face was priceless! And then Sarah and Melissa getting catty while Sara was packing.

I hope Evan and Zora stay together; they make a nice couple.

i forgot to mention...

what really touched me was when he gave zora the ring...and he made a big deal about not putting it on her left hand. he was going to put it on her right hand...

i thought that was very neat...

Here's my take on the ending.

Why would Zora have not accepted Evan for whom he is? She lives across the country from him, for goodness sake. She had $180 something in her checking account and he makes $19K per year. How often would they have actually gotten to see one another? Flights cost $$, unless one of them moved to be closer to the other, which brings up moving expenses, etc.

By saying that she accepted him, she looked good for the public even if her intention was to never see him again.

OK, from a romantic perspective, you are all right. It was hopelessly romantic for her to choose him and he, her. Sara is the stuff of which drain clogs are made. :smooth: At least Zora's videos showed her kindness.

I'm so relieved that Zora was the chosen one! She is truly a girl after my own heart. I'm also a sucker for a fairytale romance. I hope everything works out~~can't wait until next week!

Totally sappy ending - and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. When Sarah and Melissa were smoking, whining and complaining my DH said "Look, it's Cinderella's two ugly stepsisters!"

I thought it was great. The end of it when they were dancing reminded me of the final ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast. All that was missing was her wearing a gold/yellow gown and coming down a massive stairway into the ballroom! (And no, I'm not trying to make the "Beast" reference for Evan - LOL - after all, he is a fellow Virginian!)

Anyway, I'd love to see more of these reality shows end where good overcomes bad.
