I was lucky enough to fit one day at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios during my recent whirlwind trip through Europe (7 countries in 13 days) and really enjoyed it. I thought the park was really empty in the morning, of course the last two times I have been to WDW were February and April break so the absence of massive crowds really spoils me. I loved Space Mountain Mission 2, it will be hard to go back to the original WDW version now! Even though I love the WDW version, I really liked the effects in SMM2 at DLP. I do prefer the queue at WDW though. I liked the fact you could detach the blasters on the Buzz ride, you can't in Florida! Star Tours was essentially the same, but it was kind of interesting listening to the droid speaking in French. I thought Phantom Manor was very cool as well, I enjoyed the different storyline throughout the ride. I loved Small World, especially the American part, and the post ride walk through from France Telecom was so cute, I loved it!! Pirates was also good, and Indy-I totally could not see that upside down loop before I went on the ride. I really liked the coasters at DLP, I wish WDW had more exciting coasters at WDW. I didn't get the chance to go on BTMRR, it was going down for rehab soon and thus the lines were long and I wanted to at least make it to the studios before heading back to Paris at 5PM. I went over to the studios and walked right on to RNR coaster-what is up with that??? After that I watched the stunt show, and then did the Armageddon special effects thing. These were accomplished in less than 2 hours. I see there is a Tower of Terror going up smack dab in the middle of Walt Disney Studios! Very cool. Well I just wanted to share the great experiences I had at Disneyland Paris, it is a beautiful park! The castle was also very cool, I loved the stained glass windows on the second floor, and the meal I had at the restaraunt next to the castle was excellent!!!!
