I love tracking points on the member site!

Made a ressie today for Nov 06 and it is already showing up on the member website as a future vacation.

For type A's like me, I love it. I can now confirm all of my point balances, histories, and future vacations 24/7 without having to call MS. ...No more worrying about the accuracy MS has on my ressies or point balances. It's all there.

I finally got around to checking it out tonight. .....I LOVE IT! only thing left to make me happy would be online contact with MS - No more holding on the phone or calling everyday - How great would that be?

The new feature is also great for people like me who think they are spending New Year's Eve at the Boardwalk Villas but in reality will be at Old Key West. I would have found out eventually when I looked at my confirmation but this way was much cooler.

It's under the My DVC tab, I think it is "show vacation details" or something like that. It lists future and past vacations.

I expected it to be more interactive. I wish we could look at availability for each of the resorts for a real time so we could plan a bit easier for our call to MS. I realize it would be impossible to have it updated constantly, but even a 24 hour tally of percentage of units available by size per resort would be helpful.

Been away from the boards for a week or so and thanks to everyone here, found the new info on the DVC site!! Way cool! I knew it was coming but didn't think it would be there "on time!"

Interesting how they divide up the points for a stay by contract. We have two contracts with the same use year at the same resort. I usually track them by total of adding the two together. From my transaction history on the web site, it looks like they track by taking points from the larger contract first and then use the smaller one. The only problem with that, is that they banked my points into the smaller one, so it looks like the banked points will be the last ones used instead of the first, since they didn't use them for my first ressie next year. Hmmmm, I guess I'd better track that closely!

Great new feature! I'll actually check the DVC member site now!

One thing I noted is that the points feature is real-time! I just made a ressie for May (by phone, of course) and then clicked the "Refresh" button on my browser. Poof! The points I'd just used were instantly gone. Pretty interesting.

That's exactly why I think they could do availability real time too.

It looks like it's down for now for system maintenance. I got on it yesterday, and when I tried today, I came across this:

• We are currently unable to access your Disney Vacation Club Membership information while we perform scheduled system activities

It is pretty cool. I've only been a DVC member for a year now. How far back does the history go for long time members? Just curious

Once you log in, you click My DVC. You will get a page with four links: Points, Profile, Account Help, and Refer a Friend.

Once you click points, you have to poke around a bit to realize how MUCH information is actually there at your fingertips. There's quite a bit!

The site is working today. I printed out my history and can see my Everest preview weekend reservation. This is good stuff!
