Has anyone been watching this on VH1? It's hysterical - especially if that's your "time". Graduated HS in the 80's so it brings back so many memories! Love the "oh, my gosh, I totally forgot all about THAT!" factor.

I have seen some of them. I think "Oh....I remember that song...I loved that song...."

I love this show. Brings back a *lot* of memories....

OMG - didn't we realize how stupid we looked with the mall hair, the preppy shirts with the collars flipped up, and the leg warmers???:o  :o

I love that series! And I'm not even old enough to remember a lot of the stuff they talk about.

I love this show too! Only, i cannot stand the one guy they talk to all the time on there...I'm trying to think what show he's from. Maybe "Queer as Folk" or "Six Feet Under"?

Anyway, it's hilarous and a good way to pass the time watching it.

Yeah, thats my era- what a great series.

There was a lot of stupid inventions in the 80's- the Wacky Wallwalker, the leotard with a belt (WHY a belt?) and the Keytar (the keyboard that was worn like a guitar!)

I really enjoy watching that show. There are so many things I had forgotten about.

Ahhh The Keytar, what a wonderful invention!
Fess up how many of you had it???

"I Love The 80s"? They should call it "I LOATHE THE 80s". I've watched episodes of this and I can't find one celebrity saying one positive thing about the decade. You can tell they weren't taking it seriously when Andrew "Dice" Clay (who, to my recollection, didn't hit it big until the 19*90s*) announced Boy George as Mr and Ms. 1983. I wanted to make like Elvis Aaron Presley, grab a gun and give my Sony a couple of rounds of buckshot.

"I Love The 80s"? Charlie Manson gets more love than the 80s. As someone who's a die-hard 80s fan, I can tell when people aren't taking the decade seriously.

And for the record, you all looked FINE in the 80s, your hair was good, your clothing was superb and I *liked* the idea of the Keytar.

Sincerely,

John "anotherboardnposter" Kilduff

Are you for real? 'Cause if you are you need to lighten up a tad.
Why should the show be serious? How can a decade that gave us "like" valley girls and acid washed jeans and Boy George be taken seriously? Who cares if they're poking fun? Thinking back it was a pretty goofy looking time and should be made fun of.
I personally think the show is a riot. I watch it all the time.

And I thought the Wacky Wallwalker was the greatest invention ever made. I loved digging for them in cereal boxes as a little kid.

I've enjoyed watching it.:)

I wonder if Bunchkin has been watching it to see some Bon Jovi and Richie stuff.:teeth:

GO LITTLE SIS!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE this show!!!! I thought i was the only one who watched it though :teeth:

We've seen this probably six or seven times now! My 15 yo dd watches it every time it's on. Although I don't think I've seen 1980 yet. And that was a very good year, as I was 16!

My dd wants to bring back the 80's fashions, especially the high-top Chuck Taylors with two or three pair of different colored slouch socks. She also loves the "madonna" gloves.

I gotta admit, I miss my "pouffy" bangs!

StaceyA, Big hair is making a come back. I for one am happy about that. I LOVE big hair:) .
