I'm getting Disney fever, as we're getting so close. It's getting hard to concentrate on anything else.
I thought I'd share our restaurant selections.
Day 1: 1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Day 2: Chefs de France (dinner)
Day 3: Whispering Canyons (late lunch)
Day 4: Coral Reef (lunch)
Day 5: Mama Melrose (late lunch - but I'm hoping to order gorgonzola steak from the dinner menu)
Day 6: Spoodles (dinner)
Day 7: Yak & Yeti (dinner)
Day 8: Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Isn't that a nice selection? I probably should have broken up Spoodles and Mama Melrose, but really, we could eat Italian/Mediterranean 7 days a week and be happy, so it's all good.
There are always places you can't try. Next time I hope to be back at Boma, and I know DH wishes I'd booked Le Cellier instead of Coral Reef, but I think Coral Reef will be more fun for the kids.
I love opening and closing with character meals.
I'm feeling really happy about this plan. We have new ones (Chefs de France, Yak & Yeti, Mama Melrose and Coral Reef) and old favourites (Spoodles, 1900 Park Fare - though this is the first time we're doing dinner there). My FIL and MIL had the best time ever at Whispering Canyons when we went in 2004 - this is our first vacation to Disney without my dMIL, who passed away (breast cancer) in July, and I just really want to do that again with FIL, as it was such a happy memory.
I'm so looking forward to it all. And the yummy food is a big part of it all!
