I'm getting Disney fever, as we're getting so close. It's getting hard to concentrate on anything else.

I thought I'd share our restaurant selections.

Day 1: 1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Day 2: Chefs de France (dinner)
Day 3: Whispering Canyons (late lunch)
Day 4: Coral Reef (lunch)
Day 5: Mama Melrose (late lunch - but I'm hoping to order gorgonzola steak from the dinner menu)
Day 6: Spoodles (dinner)
Day 7: Yak & Yeti (dinner)
Day 8: Crystal Palace (breakfast)

Isn't that a nice selection? I probably should have broken up Spoodles and Mama Melrose, but really, we could eat Italian/Mediterranean 7 days a week and be happy, so it's all good.

There are always places you can't try. Next time I hope to be back at Boma, and I know DH wishes I'd booked Le Cellier instead of Coral Reef, but I think Coral Reef will be more fun for the kids.

I love opening and closing with character meals.

I'm feeling really happy about this plan. We have new ones (Chefs de France, Yak & Yeti, Mama Melrose and Coral Reef) and old favourites (Spoodles, 1900 Park Fare - though this is the first time we're doing dinner there). My FIL and MIL had the best time ever at Whispering Canyons when we went in 2004 - this is our first vacation to Disney without my dMIL, who passed away (breast cancer) in July, and I just really want to do that again with FIL, as it was such a happy memory.

I'm so looking forward to it all. And the yummy food is a big part of it all!

We really liked Coral Reef for lunch, DH will be able to get a really good steak there too. :thumbsup2

wow you've got a great choice of restaurants there!
we went to Yak & Yeti for the first time last October, it was fantastic food & our table was on the first floor with a view towards Discovery Island :)

I'm currently planning up to 14 (!) ADRs for next vacation in July! the last two trips its just been me & DBF - but this time it's with his family so there'll be 8 of us.. need to make sure there will be something for everyone on the menus!

considering Mama Melroses & Crystal Palace too, like you :)
so many to choose from!

happy vacation planning

Have fun! I think you have great choices!!! We haven't done Spoodles the last few trips and now I keep reading about it and it is making me want some of the delicious med. dips and stuff! Have fun! We get there a 9 days after you!! Can't wait!!

Sniffle....

DH and I just decided to cancel Spoodles and try Tutto. He wanted more new, and it was our most flexible day. There's a nice thread with lots of Tutto pics.

I really loved Spoodles last time. I hope this is the right choice!

We arrive in 3 and a half days and we have a lot of the same ADR's! I know how you feel I called to finallize everything yesterday!
We are doing
Tuttu, Kona, Garden Grill, Boma, Akurshus, tusker House, 1900 PF, Le Cellier, Jiko, Spoodles, Tokyo Dining, Whispering canyon and Crystal palace!
I am so excited!!!!

Nope, absolutely not (I would...).

Whispering Canyons was, uniquivocably, the best time I have EVER seen my ILs have, anywhere, anytime we have been with them. They laughed so hard...they talked about it all the time, it was the highlight of the 2004 trip for them.

This is our first trip without dMIL, who passed away in July after a long fight with breast cancer. dFIL is with us, and it'll be his first time at Disney without Mum, as well. So - it's something special we need to do. Yes, I thought it was corny, no, the food wasn't exciting (tasty, but not exciting), but the terrific memory of that wonderful afternoon needs to be commemorated with Dad. You understand.
