 And I think she knows it. We are expecting our fourth baby on May 26th and she's having a tough time with this prgnancy, nothing medical or anything like that it's just that the doctor says it's going to be a BIG baby.
Well, she gets winded just by walking so, when I come home from work at the firehouse I make sure she's slept okay and then I go do the dishes that have been left in the sink from dinner, get the kids ready for school and get them to school all the while making sure she gets her cup of coffee that been made by me.
After I get back from taking the kids to school I get whatever laundry needs to be done and try to get things done in our new house so she can relax. I'll then get the kids from school, get home and start to make dinner always making extra so she has dinner for the next day when I'm at work.
Yesterday she says to me while sitting on the couch after a small trip to Wal Mart "Honey, I feel like such a lazy wife with you doing all you do".
And I tell her it's my job and as long as we have been married she's never be lazy wife to me and doesn't know how to be.
And that's why I love my wife and also I love how she looks when she's pregnant I think she is so beautiful right now!!!

She sounds like a lucky woman. I'll bet you;re a good dad too. Best wishes for the new baby.

Wow if you even do half of that or mean half of that you are awesome.
You are being wonderful to her and she needs it right now.:thumbsup2

On the flip side, I can relate to what you are saying, but I am the recipient of such love. I am 31 weeks pregnant, due June 3rd, and my hubby treats me the same way. I had a rough time with my pregnancy last time and had my son 2 months early. Things are pretty hectic around here as we are trying to pack up 8 years of stuff in two weeks to move. My Dh just got a job with the FBI and will be gone as of April 27th, so I will be alone with a newborn and 4 year old for three months while he is the academy and at the riskiest time in my pregnancy. Anyway, my Dh has been catering to me and making sure I'm not overdueing it! You are the last of a dying breed! I'm sure your wife appreciates it more than you know!!!!!

Good luck and enjoy the new baby!

Awwwww, you made my heart melt! You guys sound like a very happy couple!

She is lucky to have you; not so many men are so considerate and understanding :goodvibes . With parents like the 2 of you, those kids will be the happiest in the world. Oh, and thanks for being a firefighter and doing what you do to keep my "neighbors to the south" safe :grouphug: .

It must have to do with serving the community..............my Dh is a State Trooper.

What a wonderful marriage you two must have! When people do things for their spouse out of love and not bitterness, it shows.

She is very lucky to have a husband like you, as I'm sure you must also have a wonderful wife because your love for her shows in your post.

Congratulations on your 4th child.:goodvibes

My DH is always like that when I'm pregnant. Well, not exactly doing laundry or anything. But still, very helpful. Very sweet.

And then out pops the baby, and he thinks his job is done!!

Hmmm, maybe I should get pregnant to get out of cooking and cleaning for the next 9 months...

I've always had a rough time with my pregnancies, though, so I don't think I"ll be revisiting that any time soon.

She is one lucky women to have a caring husband like you and you are lucky man to have a caring wife.

Here is to a long and wonderful life for the two of you.

It sounds like you are caring and considerate... that is tough to find sometimes.

As for big babies, it's really not that bad. Both my kids were big (9.12 and 9.13) and it was actually pretty fine. I did have an epidural. I was told outright to be "Open" to the idea of a C-section, but I didn't have to have one. Don't worry about it.. especially if you have had children before. Remember big can be a relative term-- big compared to your other children, big compared to birth averages, big compared to ultrasound measurments, etc...

Awww, you sound like a sweetie and real keeper Fireman17! :thumbsup2

Bless her heart and best wishes to wifey for a healthy labor, delivery and bundle of joy. pixiedust:

We had ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo also, not sure why, but my DH always said he loved my glowing pregnancies!? :scratchin

Thank you all for your kind words. Although I really can't take all the credit for what I do at home for my wife that's only half of it. When I go to work my shift is for 24 hours so my wife has to do it all whle I'm gone and if she gets a break during the day it may only be for a couple of hours when our youngest takes his nap then she's off again.
I have to say my wife is my rock and my diamond she has been there for me through think and thin. She's been beside me when I was injured on duty and although she never had the look of worry on her face I knew. She's seen my friends hurt and my best friend taken from me too early and always held my hand when I needed her even though she was experiencing her own heart break at the loss of her mom.
I think we have the best marriage in the world and even with her being my second wife and I being her second husband we knew what our mistakes were and vowed to never make them again. And after 12 years it seems to be working out just right.
That's why I love my wife so much.

Awwww, it's great you married her!

Because if you were married to me, I probably would have just told you to stop impregnating me.

Congratulations on the new baby :thumbsup2 .You sound like a lovely hubby, she must also be very proud of you to.x.

Honestly, I would expect nothing less from my husband if I were having a difficult pregnancy.

And if he made a big deal about how wonderful he was treating me, I'd probably be annoyed. ;)
