I love it when a plan comes together

......Time off work - Booked.
......DLH - Booked.
......Paris hotel for pre-DLP one night stay - Booked.
......Eurostar - Booked.

The Eurostar was the last bit we needed to do. Went to Bluewater last weekend, went into the eurostar shop to ask a question (about getting on at St P, and returning to Ebbsfleet) and ended up booking tickets there and then! Am glad we did actually because we assumed that they all stopped at Ebbsfleet and we'd be able to hop off, but it turns out that many of them don't and we would have found ourselves back in London, which would be A Bad Thing.

Woo, and indeed hoo!! Might even break the habit of a lifetime and have a small jig.

PS now if the plan could also involve winning the lottery to pay for the repairs to my house roof after last night's storms and resultant unpaid day off today, that would be cool. Thank you, powers that be.

Not sure - I don't think so,though. We just get any old train into paris rather than the DLP train, we don't find the times of that convenient, plus cheaper at £29 each way (and it means we get to go a day early!)

The eurostar website has timetables which could help, though.

When I tried to book online you could NOT go directly from Ebbsfleet to DLRP, there had to be a change in Paris or Calais
