I LOVE E-ticket For Posting

I have both a Blackberry and iPod Touch. I have to say that I do not like surfing the DIS on either of them. It's hard to navigate and read and with all the pictures, I think it gets confusing.

I bought the E-ticket app knowing that I can't really use it in the parks, but I wanted it anyway. I decided to try the discussion boards on it, and I love how clean it looks. It is very easy to navigate. I think that is the only thing I will use when I surf on my Touch! LOVE it!

I totally agree. I too have a touch and find it very easy to browse the boards with e ticket. Would highly recommend the app. Also very good for browsing the reviews

This is my first attempt at posting with eTicket, but I am enjoying surfing the boards on it. So much nicer than using Safari!

I guess I thought you had to have an iphone to use it in the parks for live stuff. I didn't get a chance to use it in the parks, so I haven't even played with anything but the disboards on it.

I too have a blackberry (which i hate to try to surf on SP***T) yuck! and just got an itouch. I love the E-ticket for posting also!! I'm so ready to just dump the blackberry for an iphone but can't. I hope maybe one of the other diser here that are more techy can tell me how i can get on internet when not on a Wireless router at house or at work. we have an AT&T wireless usb card but they both have usb ports. is there a "device" that i can use to hook my itouch up to my air card??

Any help is appreciated.

The Air card is connected to the...Hot Spot Router,
The Hot Spot Router connects to the Ipod Touch via Wifi...

The aircard has a built in GPS. The router gets the GPS data from the aircard and publishes that info as a "KML" file on the router. The iPOD touch polls the router for the KML file (this is called "location Services" on the iTouch). Since Eticket uses the Google Maps API, Eticket will look for the GPS Port. Since there is location data in that port, ETICKET will display your location as provided by the aircard. This works with SPRINT, Verizon, ATT, and Cricket aircards.

FYI - Did you know that Sprint started as a railroad? Southern Pacific Communications Company

...so the AT&T aircard is a mobile modem...correct?
and the router is a router.....but in this case for the mobile modem..
and the only way to connect a mobile modem to an ipod touch is via the router (using wifi).

so....could i use the same set up on my iphone?
the reason i ask - i can only use skype on my iphone when i am in a wifi spot (in a cafe for example)..
when my iphone is using the 3G connection, the skype phone is blocked...

but if i were to use the aircard/router, then i would have a mobile computer connection...not an iphone connection....is that true?
would that get me around the blocked skype on my iphone?

or am i totally off?

Correct and Correct. I use skype and SIP Voip phones on my Itouch.
