Just realized I can do partial payment online for insurance (duh!). Did $200 on my AmEx for the 10% back up to $20. Another $200 on DH's. The balance on his CIP. Will buy Target gift cards tomorrow for 10% off with his CIP, then whoop whoop MSR met!

Churners: more excited to meet MSRs tomorrow than to save that 10% on future Target purchases

I just got on the chase mobile bandwagon here (that Aldi post drew me in) no Aldi of course but I got some others I may use like 5 guys or starbucks.... do the offers work on a gc purchase? like at lowes or staples? and how do I know which chase card is linked to use for purchasing? when I log in I see all my cards listed, which card are the offers linked to,or is it all of them at once?

My Staples worked in Happy gift cards. At the top of the offer page you select your card

Finally got around to setting up the Google Home Mini that DH got for free for some purchase he made. It’s so fun! Although I now have premium Spotify so DS could get specific songs to play. And darn, I wish I had picked a couple when Target had them for $25. I did get the Google Home and Google Home Hub but can’t decide if I am keeping either of them since the Mini works so well.

@speedyfishy Thank you so much ages ago for the head's up about the holiday bonus miles/points through SW/AA/UA. I had received the emails but I would have NEVER thought to have tried buying gc's expecting the bonus points. You were so confident that it would work that I decided to give it a try. And, what seems like AGES later, I have FINALLY received confirmation today from UA that my purchase through gcm did indeed qualify my account for bonus award miles. Just a shame I only did my UA account and did not do them all (or those of DH for that matter), but now I will know for next time (until the rules change!).

Haha yeah unless it’s GF RPC it’ll be more expensive at DLR!

-Hotels.com? I hear lots of talk about getting hotels.com GC at a discount but I’ve never used them myself

And don’t forget they charge like $20/night for parking.

CC wise something like Arrival+ could wipe some of the hotel charge.

Thanks. Amazingly enough I can usually stay CL at WDW for less than a non-view room at the GCH. Even RPC on occasion! I don't need CL in DL (but love it at WDW - different trips I guess) but my dates are showing 1.2K per night at the GCH in a non-view CL room. No way! I haven't wanted to go the GC route yet since the trip is pretty iffy and we may not go if something more interesting comes along.

Feel blessed @tink1970 you keep getting the pay over time offers. I am like @Judique and have got nothing. In fact I got all excited I got something in the mail yesterday about it. And the incentive to join? Not anything at all. Apparently I can still get new Amex cards (finger crossed) but am not incentive worthy.

I feel totally blessed, don't worry! I wish I knew what I did to trigger it and I'd share will y'all.

LOL! On our way to dinner DH mentioned buying something at Target tomorrow and I was horrified "No, we have to use our gift cards but we can't until 10 am Monday." DH "It's still 5% off with the RedCard." Me "Nooooooo." This is where I'll also share we are down to our last rolls of tp and I'm hoping we can make it until Monday at 10!

Can someone check my math? I'm trying to decide if I want to make a stop at Office Depot tonight for the Happy Guy cards. I just finished the Best Buy/SB deal on one card and have the offer on two more so I am also deciding about doing that deal again. This is what I have calculated:

Best Buy spend $300 get $30 back = 10%
Swagbucks spend $100 get 750 SB = 7.5%
Also get 1% back in MR points = 1%

Office Depot spend $150 get $20 off = 13.3%
Use Ink+ or AmEx Blue Biz for 5%

Am I missing anything? It looks to me like the deals are pretty much equivalent.

I don't know anything about OD, but for the BB deal, you will also get the 2SB/$ for the purchase, so another 200 for every $100 or 2%.
