Regarding the RMN shutdowns, I received a shutdown email back in September after I did my first three offers at Staples, Home Depot and Walgreens. The $10 reward for each immediately went pending and I was waiting for them to post so I could add the offers again. For some unknown reason, before the rewards posted I was able to link them again. I used the Walgreens again and that's when I received the email about my account being in violation of their terms and if I want to contest their decision I needed to provide information about my purchases. I ended up doing that since they didn't ask for anything that I wasn't willing to share. I quickly received a reply back that their team would review my case and let me know of their decision. While I was waiting to hear from them, I was still able to log in to my account and add additional offers so it didn't seem like my account wasn't actually closed. I was really surprised when the second Walgreen's offer posted so I went ahead and used Home Depot and Walgreen's each one more time before the offer expired. My first three offers never posted and still show pending in my account, but I was able to get $30 in rewards after the shutdown email. I never heard back from the team so I really don't know what happened. None of the new offers have been worth it to me so I haven't used RMN since the end of September.

Since my shutdown email, I've gotten app notifications on my phone and emails. The shutdown email verbiage says I am shunned from the cash back offers, so not sure if I am still eligible to use other parts of the app. Do you plan to use RMN if good deals show up after 11/21?

Bummer on the RMN accounts getting shut down. I've not used mine since all the good offers disappeared and mine have almost exclusively been GC's. I'll be expecting my shutdown email...

I've stopped, too, since I was using it mostly (but not exclusively) to buy GCs.

For the RMN shutdowns, at first glance I'm thinking it's less the gift card purchases and more using 2 accounts at the same time. Even though they're for separate people it probably looks like it's the same person who made multiple accounts given the transaction history and especially if both are linked to the same paypal account. That's my theory until we hear of single accounts getting shutdown too. (unless I missed one?)

Could maybe try to prove you are two people who just happen to shop together (and I do know some people who still share a smartphone, although they're in the extreme minority now). I didn't think it said anything about one per household, but I could have missed it since I only planned to use one account anyway.

DH & I used RMN at Staples together a few times. And one time DD came along and bought GCs, too. Different devices, but the same paypal account.

Check your emails - $40 Disney GC for those with a Disney Visa who call and do a DVC phone tour. Call is 20 minutes. Can't already be an owner. Call 888-627-3509 if you have a Disney Visa.

Apologies if already posted - I don't have time to go backward on the thread right now.

Thanks for the heads up on this one!

I also wonder if that is it. No emails yet for us, and I've only had once, maybe twice that I had DH along and we both did a RMN deal at Staples...

None for us, either, but now I'm kind of expecting it. And the same with me and my DH at Staples.

Anyone get this from AA? Is it legit? A big waste of time?

Well..... what is going on with the Dis site here? of all days for it to go down with SWA excitement...it's not as easy to get friendly info elsewhere... anyway.... I scored some decent deals this week(but I could've done better if I had thought it out better lol) so I had a deal on one of my Hh Amex to spend $200 at a grocery/get 10k points.... then combined this weeks stop and shop gc deal (buy $100 gc,get $20 to spend in store later) so went thru register 2x, spent $200(10k points!) got $200 in Amazon gc(already spent lol) -went back to store today and used both coupons (2 transactions) and bought $40 worth of vegetables and groceries (on sale too!) to stock my freezer.... so that was good. (I SHOULD have planned better today- I could have added some items, plus a turkey with each order for approx. 9.00 more on each transaction but whatever)

Dh's ne wbiz was 5k also...the new personal is ridiculous like 15k:rotfl2: we'll be lowering that soon lol..... I just got confirming sm about the 2k/50k offer on the app!!! I know I can do some spending on it now to get started since the two combined= easy cp!!!!! I was so worried about the 40k offer and messing that up for 2019
I like the person on Reddit who told you not to call...that you should just trust it. It's a bunch of idiots over there, I swear. 100 people called to verify...but YOU...YOU are the one who will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Also FYI - if you are calling to verify the SW offer is on your account, don't sound suspicious. The best way to ask this is to just ask them for the date you need to meet the $2,000 by. Then just confirm it is 50,000 points. PRESUME that everything is correct and have them verify it that way! :)

It's probably like the survey program that SW has.

Yes, if a good deal pops up I’ll certainly give it a try. My last two offers happened after the shutdown email. I just haven’t seen any offers good enough to spend time on.

LOL. I've already deleted the RMN app from my phone.

Thanks for the heads up on the SW flight. Next summer is still up in the air with DD graduating in June and both kids going to college in August (We know where DS is going, he just reserved an apartment, DD is still figuring it out). And DD has a chance to got to China for a Mission Trip. But now that she has saved all the $ for it - she is not sure she wants to part with it (and the fact her 2 best friends are not going).

So, if she does not go to China - I figured we might as well go to Disney. I know it will be before Star Wars Land opens but if kids go to different schools then they most likely would have different spring breaks. So, just in case - I booked us all airfare for then end of July. I got all 4 of us RT Tickets from MSP to MCO for about 40,000 points total. That is insane. It was like 6500 points there and 3500 points back. It is Wednesday to Wednesday but that doesn't matter to us. DH does have the companion pass but not sure if he will want to go (for some reason he is not as Disney obsessed as us). So, I booked all 4 of us. If he does go then I will cancel DS and add him as DH's companion. If he does not go, then I will get his points back and still have DS booked. As I know these rates will only go up.

I love Southwest that if plans change or we can't go - I can cancel and get all my points back.

Wow! I was looking at June from Den to MCO and getting 22k a person for the dates I was thinking  It made me very sad. Even Wed to Wed comes in at 20k per person.

Yeah - I have never seen it this cheap before. And I am always on the website the day they are released. So, figured I better jump on them. Can always change them later if we need to.

I know!! Normally I am paying that for 1 person. I mean how can you not go with those rates right?? Plus we know someone with DVC and rents to us for $6 a point. So, we normally stay at Boardwalk. And DH and I both have about $700 each available in our Barclay Arrival + Cards - so can get most of the tickets with that. And I have about $1000 in Disney Gift Cards from all the recent deals.

There were 10000 mile roundtrip, non stop on Delta in Nov/Dec, but I couldn't make it work. I could not believe it, for Delta no less!

Does anyone have Choice privilege points and willing to check a reservation for me? Looking at Comfort Inn in Blue Ridge, GA for Sat 11/17 for one night with two beds. Thanks!

Looking for help on SW CP. I have 3 flights booked next year, but all are booked as 2 passengers. If I obtain the CP, will SW be able to switch one of the passengers over to the CP fairly painlessly? The flights are all around vacation weeks and are sold out for WGA fares, so cancelling and rebooking online is not an option.

If SW can do this I will prob go for the SW Biz and Personal - if not, the CIC beckons.

It sounds like you have all the Chase you need right now (except Marriott and I'd trust your lawyer eyes to understand t&c better than mine :) ) so I'd look at the Cap One or Barclaycard Arrival Plus. It never hurts to diversify!

Total bummer about the merchant not taking Amex.

I know...them not taking Amex is my biggest problem. Smaller merchant, Amex too high of fees, blah blah blah. All the cards I want right now are Amex and that is my biggest issue of what to get him. I am halfway tempted to just throw out my hands and have him put the rest of the balance right now on his Business Unlimited and call it good. I hate to get a card just to get it and then probably end up keeping it forever since it will be such a potential pain for him to cancel and/or deal with.
