I’ve never seen WL that cheap. Did you book directly with Disney? I saw yc at $300/night on Priceline for January and I thought that was pretty cheap. We stayed at akl last year for under $300/night by booking with undercover tourist.

I did not book direct. It was a TA I can't mention. Disney had YC for $279 for my Jan dates direct, with the disney visa discount. I've never checked UCT!! Will do!

Yes!!! West of Boston about 30min. Rumor was some stores are doing gas points but i got coupon. I’m sure its the same for most MA stores. Plus I heard you could use more than one coupon with the grocery trip.

Hello all Been skimming the board, but can't keep up....No word on being able to book Disney again with Chase right?

Ran across really good price on flights, through Frontier, for a quick weekend trip next month for DH and I.

But I'm striking out everywhere I turn...very limited hotel availability. S&D aren't showing up on UR. Sold out directly through SPG/Marriott. Can't get the frontier flights to show up on UR site either . Either it's not meant to be or I need to work harder.

Swan and Dolphin disappeared the same time the disney resorts did from the UR portal. Why, I have no clue. It is super frustrating. I haven't looked in the last week, but last I checked S/D still didn't show.

Just checking in from WDW! We’re staying at CSR and came back to the room for a little afternoon break. I have to say, this resort is stunning. Yes, there is a lot of construction going on, but it doesn’t bother us a bit. We’re in Casitas 3 and it’s been very quiet. The rooms are beautiful!-

We had a nice time at MVMCP last night. Rode everything we wanted but Mine Train. We could’ve made it happen, but we just didn’t worry about it and instead focused on seeing the shows and parades. Today is our HS day. We did Slinky Dog this morning. Waited a solid hour, but it was a cute ride. ToT and RNRC have been alternating going down all day. Hoping we can get on ToT when we go back tonight since we still have a FP for it and it’s my favorite!

DD19 and I stayed at CSR for the first time in August. The rooms were really nice! I agree, the construction is out of the way and doesn't affect much. I do think that huge building is weird for that resort though. Doesn't really fit in.
I don't know what it is about ToT, but I get so scared every single time!!

I'm rapidly approaching the end of my Discover first year. This is the first time I've done the cashback match so I'm not sure exactly when the cutoff is. I read some terms that said 12 statements but they've been saying the day after my statement closes in Dec as the date I'll get my match. So technically my 12th statement closes on 11/11 but my match doesn't deposit until after the next statement (12/11)? Or do I have some leeway and everything earned up to 12/11 doubles? It'd be nice if I didn't need to max out the last category tonight so it makes the 11/11 statement close but I'm prepared to do some damage if we must

I was kicking around the idea of getting DH some concert tickets for Christmas. So I'm looking up a singer he likes... hes got a date in orlando in January! Disney and a concert! I'm thinking, I have enough points left to book his tickets each way... could either pay for mine or hope CP would come through quickly... either way, i look at flights. Thurs night flight is ok. Glad you are having a good time! I know we chatted about CS before but just agreeing with how great those rooms are! We loved CS and I was so impressed with the refurbed rooms. We were in Ranchitos 7b, iirc, and the bus stop was right outside our building. So convenient!! Getting to the lobby was a haul but we only did that once before we learned the bus patterns and started taking the bus to the lobby lol!

That's what is a little confusing. My first statement closed 12/11/17 (it was a partial month, I didn't get my card until 12/1) so my statement #12 is 11/11/18. I've got 11 statements listed in my account so I was taking it that this one closing in 2 days is my last one. Seems like I'm either getting screwed out of a couple weeks because of how they matched up my closing dates (for whatever reason they made this card match my existing card so both close on the same date) or maybe they are generous and I'll get it all up to statement #13. I wasn't thinking much about it before because they've said from the beginning "We'll give you another $xxx.xx at the end of your first year—available on December 12, 2018 " so I had 12/11 in my head; but just the other week I realized that statement #12 would really be in Nov. How come something that sounds so simple can get so complex?
Maybe I'll figure out how to chat with them and see if they'll give me a date.

Not going to lie makes me think about changing my mind about calling and trying to get Plat Biz. I really don’t want to deal with that even though I don’t MS or anything. Impression of article is while you need to spend on Amex don’t spend too much?!?

Yeah this does make me nervous. We've held that Plat card for over 5 years and wouldn't be pleased if they took it away. We've put a ton on spend on it since it was our primary card, without and issues. This is making me wonder if it's not a good idea to get more AMEX cards... (yes, I'm skittish)

First off...that was a ridiculous and terrible article. If you want to be helpful, provide some specifics!!! "Spending has ramped up"..."My reselling business has A LOT of spend"..."after spending about $500"... The author literally told us nothing. I'm assuming they were spending tens of thousands of dollars, perhaps well beyond what a normal person with a normal income would spend. What else could I assume with such awesomely specific terms such as "ramped up" and "A LOT"...UGH - terrible writing IMO.

At any rate, I don't think anybody here has to worry about a true AMEX FR. I'm not even sure what this person went through was a true FR. It sounds more like an enhanced fraud call... ALL the FR stories I recall reading included submitting tax returns to prove income. This guy apparently cleared his "FR" in a matter of minutes while hanging out at Target.

Yup, the vanilla Plat, Biz Plat, and BBP have 15k MR referrals. But note that each card is capped at 55k MR in referral bonuses per calendar year, so that gets you only 3 full 15k referrals and then a 10k (aside from the enhanced 20k MR referral from the Biz Plat over the summer).

I hit up Best Buy and put 2 more charges with Chase pay and the extra 1500 is now pending. I never got an email/promo. Going to try this in my Freedom unlimited. Interested to know if it works on reg Freedoms too but doubting it.
