I love credit cards so much!

@SouthFayetteFan Just a DP, I opened a Schwab brokerage account using the link from DISchurners, which did say I would get a $100 bonus after depositing $1k. I never got the bonus nor took a screen shot. Just went to click the link again and the page is gone :( So, you may want to update that when you get a chance.

If anyone happens to have a screen shot of the offer, let me know. I'm going to contact them but I have no proof.

Since the referral code seems to still be active, I'd call the Promotions Team at 866-855-9102 and ask them what happened. I tried chatting for mine and that's the result I got, call those guys. The offer code was/is REFER. Probably don't need the screenshot but I thought DoCs article had one in it. So far they have been quite pleasant and quick to work with. They deposited the money same day when I called.

I have been only been to the Vineland one but have gone 3 separate trips now. They have stuff from all the resorts and DCL. There was actually quite a bit this last trip from DCL. Last January when we went a lot of stuff from Christmas season, in May a ton of stuff from the recent opening of Shanghai. This last trip more of a mix but definitely a lot from DCL. Derek Burgan of Touring Blogs does a monthly outlet report that details what he finds. https://blog.touringplans.com/2018/10/31/mmm_oct2018/
What he got in October is some different stuff then what we found. I would have bought that Peter Pan pillow without a second thought. But more to the topic $150 if my gift card stash was gone within an hour.

As far as using URs, I'm guessing Hyatt is always a good choice. :)

Agree never had any Hyatt points and then was looking at hotels in phoenix, everything seemed so expensive until I looked at Hyatt. Was able to transfer 40,000 UR to Hyatt and book 8 nights at what looks like a nice hotel. Definitely greater than 1.5 cent redemption.

I saw lots of DCL merchandise! There are two outlets. One is smaller than the other but both are just jam packed with goodies. There is some overlap between what each has but we found unique items in each. My dd's wanted some of the parks dresses. I was only able to find those at the smaller location. Whatever location that was (anyone know the difference??) had lots better clothing options, imo. I bought about 8 pieces of clothing. The dress was maybe $18 but the the tops I bought for myself and my dd's were $3-$5 a piece.
I’m thinking pre-cruise shopping for goodies to avoid the sticker shock on board. DS is getting a bit old for this trick, but in the past I’ve smuggled gifts in my suitcase to WDW, then Mickey made them magically appear in our resort room ;)

FYI to United MPX users - I made a purchase at macy's and used my CFU through MPX - It did not earn 5%. Tagging @Lain and @calypso726 because I know they use MPX.[/QUOTE

Not really a response to your comment but I was just coming here to ask about MPX. I can't seem to ever get it to work for me. I get an error message every time I try to pay. Is there a trick to it?

Make fake accounts with your last name and your address. Mailers should come a few months later. I have been seeing some in my informed delivery but only actually got a few. My mail person stinks or is a churner.
Interesting. DH, DS and I all have AA accounts. No mailers here. DH and I have AA cards already but DS9 doesn’t

I'm trying to change all of my online payees to my new SPG Biz and Playstation keeps saying invalid credit card number.
If I choose PayPal to pay and link my card thru PP, will there be any fees?

That happened to me when I first starting using it. I emailed support. They told me to wait 14 days before trying again. Since then I have not had any issues.

Schwab's customer service is great. I'll be surprised if they don't give you the promo.

I haven't stayed at them much. Just Hyatt mco. But their rewards program seems great. I have that stay coming up in Knoxville this weekend...$350 room for 8k points (transferred from UR)...can't beat that.

I am thinking we should plan on Hyatt for Maui too since we need 2 rooms.

Do you have a fish extender? I don't participate in the group one anymore since social media ruined it (no offense to those who still do it) but I do still bring ours and fill it myself for my kids. They love the surprises and ask for less extras since they receive surprises in it.

I’ve stayed at the Maui Hyatt Kanapaali Beach - it’s awesome.

Curious which Hyatt in Phoenix? We go there quite a bit since my in-laws live there.

I’m impressed with Hyatt redemption. We stayed at Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis just a few blocks from US Bank stadium for 8k per night. The hotel was great, clean and modern plus free breakfast. Our pre cruise hotel in Vancouver is 12.5 k per night. Haven’t stayed there yet but looks great and close to port.

No. First and probably last cruise so I figured it’s not worth the effort. But I can always leave surprises in the room.
