Looks like Marriott changed the rules of the 29 ways to stay sweepstakes. You can now win points once per day. P2 and I had both done the game previously and got 50 points each. Played again today and I got another 50 points, P2 got 1,000. So definitely check it out again!

My Marriott account is all messed up. My points from Amex SPG Lux have been there for a week or so. Today when I logged in my account was back to 275,000 points from almost 400,000. And when I try to login on my desktop I'm getting an error.

That just seems so weird to me to have to be approved, but whatever, she is in, finally! We started this 2 months ago.

Marriott hates me. This is the second time I went all the way through on my DHs account, got a whopping 50 points, then on a separate browser went all the way through on my account and got the Error - Try Again then Oops you have already played.

I've been getting an error a lot this week. I'm also missing my MAGC points from our Swolphin stay (not sure if they've credited or not) and the elite night credit for my birthday hasn't shown up... I got the email for that on Monday and it said to allow 48hrs for it to show up...

See where these say From XXXXX? Between the weight and date at the top?

They told me that they can't ship any more if I don't put their zip code on there. Okay.... you are simply my closest/most convenient post office. Why does it matter that we have different zip codes? They're not that different... You're 10min from my house. Ebay's new label printing page doesn't give you an option to change that... the classic page does, but then when I bought the label and printed it, it still showed my zip and not the one I entered. Googling indicates I may have grumpy postal workers.

September was our hottest month, on record, EVER. And we are obviously not participating in any hint of fall weather! We were at HS & MK this past Saturday, and while we are used to the heat, the crowds were crazy. I forgot that it's fall break for some places (since we don't actually get fall here) My husband works outside and is in attics all the time - he is always so beat at the end of the day!

Yeah the heat is why we are so wiped. And not 20 anymore either.

Some more trip stuff: met Art Smith while at Homecommin. Also have heard more adults grumble about money and costs more than any other Disney trip I've been on.

Saw the Fidelity/Amazon deal on churning. Want to do that for DH but i am so tired and lazy right now, lol.

That combination of crowds and heat sound like my worst nightmare. Sorry to hear it's that way on your trip. I hope you enjoyed parts of it though.

Oh we're having fun for sure. But I don't have the same tolerance for crowds anymore!

I've eaten so many good, fattening things I feel like a beached whale. And so many adult drinks.

I will say this is probably my last October trip. We like late January for many reasons.

We are considering a late January trip for next year! We got a pin code and could stay at yacht club for $300/night. Boardwalk is a little more and I think Saratoga/old key west were around the same price.

This one has the drop box on the wall right up by the counter, and there was no one there so she told me to bring them to her. Other times I've dropped them in the box by my grocery store if they're small enough. I had another worker tell me that with one other item last week, but she just mentioned the date. It was to big to go in the drop box. Other times I've shipped stuff in the last few yeaes, not for Ebay but personal packages, they've always just waved me up from line and say to set it on the side of the counter if i prepaid. I haven't done that for 6+ mths though

We can’t afford those either. Chicago Blackhawks tickets start around $150 pp for SRO. DS is a huge fan but really it’s either that or a vacation. We bought AHL hockey tix instead. Still fun, just not quite the same.

My DH is taking our 2 boys for the outdoor game on New Years Day. I think winter classic or something like that. Anyways, it is at Notre Dame. It will be their Christmas gift. Tix were a bit over $500 for the 3 of them, but I did the hotel on points. I think they will drive up there but if I find flights those will be points too. We don't need any further junk in our house, so I'm all about giving experiences as gifts. Maybe something to look into for your son....unique way to see the Blackhawks.

I really do read all the posts but I don't have great memory or @Lain's spreadsheet, so I don't remember when your cruise is. Sea world now has $49 single day mid-week tickets but they must be used before mid Nov if you have any interest or an exta day to play with.

Thank you. I will look into it. Would need to rent a car though, so not sure it would save anything. We may just stay at the airport Hyatt, cruise, the go right back home. I just can't decide. The cruise 12/15.

I have an post too...This trip I am planning for 16 people is completely stressing me out. I no longer want to be a TA. Not one who plans park days, dining, FP's and does a touring plan for 16 people. Booking rooms and seeing up DME is the easy part! Figuring out the dining for 16 people is going to be the death of me. Booking 16 people is only available at about 10 places...of which, about 6 are character meals, and these people are only wanting two character meals. They are willing to split 8/8 but not anymore than that, and I've called Disney and even calling doesn't open up a lot more options. Can I share what I currently have for them and you guys give me your thoughts? They have PH'ers, DDP and staying at BLT. Because we are always paying OOP, I've not been to some of these places. I'd love opinions from you all if you don't mind indulging me some with some OT stuff:

Arrival Day (everyone lands by 1:30)-March 11: 1900 PF 4:20 OR Crystal Palace 5:10 MK til close
March 12: Boma 5:35 Start day at AK
March 13: BOG 2:00 Start day at MK
March 14: 50's PT 2:30 Start day at DHS
March 15: Biergarten 6:10 Start day at Epcot
Departure day-March 16: Chef Mickey's 8:35 OR Ohana's 8:50 OR 1900 PF 9:35 (first flight out is at 1:30 and they are comfortable taking a taxi to MCO)

Open to ALL suggestions!!! There are 8 kids ranging in age from 18 down to 3. No one is character crazy nor are these every year Disney people. Most have never been, or not been in like 10 years.

For arrival day, I'd go with the CP at 5. The reason is that it gives those who wish a chance to rest, esp the 3 year old, before heading out to dinner and do MK. I type that as I am sitting in a dark hotel room watching my toddler nap. haha!

Our PO is 20 minutes away without traffic. We have a Pak Mail and UPS store that both offer USPS dropoffs, so I have been using them instead of making the trek to the PO. Definitely more convenient!
