I love credit cards so much!

Yes. Referral bonuses typically post 2-4 days after approval, and the airline credit posts about 2-4 days after the qualifying transaction posts to your statement. However, delays are not unheard of. Last month, referral bonuses were showing delays of 1-2 weeks.

Ok, thanks. It's been a week on the card at this point (from approval) and the AA cards went from pending to actual today (but were pending for a couple of days). I'll sit here and try not to worry, even if I'm a worrier by nature. o_O

Since your staying onsite you get magic bands for free...you can pick the color you’d like and they ship about a month before your stay..you link your park tickets and can use them your whole stay. You’ll only be able to use them for charging back to the room when your at POR

Thank you!

Quoting myself. My Costco.com purchase coded just fine on Freedom for 5x. Setting up my new laptop now. I was going to wait and use it toward MSR on new cards, but just could not wait any longer, I was way overdue for an upgrade and no plans for new cards until December-ish.

DH was approved for a new card on 10/4, got an email that it shipped on 10/6. I saw in our daily email from USPS that he had a piece of mail from Cap One today and was all excited, but it was only a stupid welcome letter. I need a new computer, I've been using my DD's old laptop because mine is so slow its ridiculous! Waiting for the card so we can buy my new one.

I got this promo on one account. I can't believe this, but we do not have 1 MC between the 2 of us! Any ideas for where to get the cheapest $500 MCGC? I know that Kroger and CVS have them and I can check Simon mall on my trip to the outlets. Can you buy a MCGC with a Kroger gift card? Just trying to keep the cost as low as possible as well as the number of payments. I had so much trouble the last time I paid my DD's rent with Plastiq. Not sure how they would handle lots of $200 checks!

According to the terms of the promotion it has to be a MasterCard credit card. It might derail your plans but you could think about getting a Barclaycard Arrival Plus. 2% back on everything. 60k and no AF waived first year. Other option I am familiar with is the Chase IHG card. It is a MasterCard. Free night on renewal each year. Sure other MasterCards out there that could be options too.

I can second the gum thing. I used to cry every time we went on a plane when I was little because of the pressure. I have really bad ears and had tubes in my ears as a kid. My dad always brought gum and would sit and chomp with me. It helped some but there would be times my ears wouldn’t pop until after being in the airport for an hour.

I can sympathize with you...my daughter had the same issues....was born with a cleft palate and had tubes put in her ears when she was 3 months old...we tried everything...gum...swallowing, ear planes...I thing they were called....nothing really helped...she still has pain sometimes now as an adult but not often thank goodness

You two are making me worry. My 2 year old also has ear and hearing problems and is on her second set of ear tubes. She's always been a champ on planes, no crying. Could this change when her tubes fall out?

I'd love to be a DP for if Costco is coding 5x on the CF but my dh went today and dropped a hefty sum, and even though I updated his stickies, he used the Citi Costco card :scared: I still love him and all but not real happy with him atm. As a wife, I don't ask much, I'm not high maintenance, I'm not naggy, I'm loving, a great cook and I take good care of his children. All I ask in return is that he use the right card at the right place. Is that asking too much :rolleyes2

If I book a flight on united with points, does the 24hr cancellation policy still apply for me? I want to book United flights tonight before they add the close in booking fee, but DH needs to double check something at work in the morning...

I’m almost positive it does.

Yes.

Yes, I did that a couple of days before buying the GCs. Thanks!

I purchased a $100 AA GC on October 2nd with the new gold card. The credit posted on October 6th.

I bought $150 and $100 SW gift cards with my Aspire, and it took quite a while for the credits to post. Much longer than for my Plat and Biz Plat. But they did eventually post.

I loved the gender game! Kindle unlimited is my new best friend
We just got the free 90 days for kindle unlimited and The Gender Game was on my list of books I couldn't get at my library. I saw I could get all 7 books with kindle unlimited so I was super happy! I'm on book 6. Normally, I get books from one of the libraries I'm apart of because they have SO many books. They normally have almost every book on my list. Next, I'm going to read A Reaper at the Gates.

I honestly have no idea. I'm not sure when my ears starting bothering me. I would have to ask my parents, but I know it happened for most of my childhood because we took planes quite a bit.
