Who did you call about the points? My statement closed 10/3 and I am still waiting on my 3k to hit my RR. My Premier hit the following day but my Plus is being stubborn!

My points posted about two weeks after the fee posted. As soon as the points hit my RR account, I called to see if there was a retention offer- was but not enough to entice me -so I closed the card, and kept my RR points.

You should be able to just cancel, no need to pay the fee.

I called Chase and said I needed the points to book airfare and was wondering when they would post. She said the points would hit right after statement close.

Yes, my AF posted on 10/1. My statement closed on 10/3 and I can see the points but it’s now over a week and they still are not in my RR account. I check daily, sometimes more than that.

I did and honestly I'm surprised that I did. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it though. I've prepaid a lot of bills already as I've been going through my MSRs...

Looks like it basically makes the Plastiq fee 1.25% instead of the 2.5% for the $$ you have Plastiq process by 10/31. I have a Cap1 Quicksilver that earns 1.5% so that might be my best bet, or maybe my Upromise MC that earns 1.4375%. I have an old Citi TY card that earns 1%, and a Citi Biz AA card (but that would be pricey for the miles earned), so those are not appealing to use. This would be awesome for anyone who has a Barclay Arrival +. Or the Citi Double Cash.

I'm thinking probably the best reason to use this is to bank FFDs for future MSRs.

I got this promo on one account. I can't believe this, but we do not have 1 MC between the 2 of us! Any ideas for where to get the cheapest $500 MCGC? I know that Kroger and CVS have them and I can check Simon mall on my trip to the outlets. Can you buy a MCGC with a Kroger gift card? Just trying to keep the cost as low as possible as well as the number of payments. I had so much trouble the last time I paid my DD's rent with Plastiq. Not sure how they would handle lots of $200 checks!

For GE, how easy it it to get appointments together? We can do Pre-check locally but to get GE we'd have to go to Atlanta which isn't a huge deal, I just wouldn't want to make the trip 2-3X's to get the whole family through. If I can't get appointments together then we'd just do pre-check as we don't have any concrete plans for overseas trips.

But I do have them in my head so I figured why not get GE????

This is very much one of those YMMV things. For us, it was hard to just get 3 appointments, on any day at any time. There was no chance of getting them together. We were just lucky to get them at all. This is for SFO. I hear other airports are much better in this regard.

Maybe double check that your RR number matches the one your cc is linked to. AA had my AA shopping portal crediting to the wrong account.
