I love credit cards so much!

Grrr... I did one charge of $86, my usual monthly bill on 9/29, and then a $115 charge on 10/1. It'll be my luck that I won't get the offer to credit.
Yeah, I wasn’t sure if AT&T was totaling so I just did the $200 at one time. Did you get the email that you had redeemed the offer? My email came the same the day as when the charge went pending.

Nope... grrr. Wonder if I contact Amex if they'll ask any questions...

Still can't get Universal tickets to work on CSP either. Credit cards are not cooperating with me this week!

I filled in the application for Global entry on Thursday (I can see the charge and reimbursement already on my CSR), but I haven’t heard anything back about my application.
Anyone who’s done this have an idea of how long it usually takes to hear back from them about setting up an appointment?
Me and my SO applied on 9/3. SO received her approval about 5 days after, interviewed, and received her card already. I'm still waiting. From what I have been reading on the Flyertalk thread on GE approvals it can take anywhere from a week to 6 months. I have a quick trip to Honolulu in November to see family, so I hope I can get an interview by then.

Does anyone know how long it takes to link PayPal with your bank account? I started it last week, it said I would see a small amount go in and out to verify my account. Haven’t seen anything yet. I can’t remember what day I did it, but it was early last week. I hope I didn’t mess it up.

Death of Chase Double Dip DP Summary

I know that not everybody here reads or follows r/churning regularly. They have a Double Dip Demise DP thread where people can report their double dip issues. There is nothing new on this front but I figured I'd share some recent (and random) DPs here so we all are aware that double dips appear FULLY dead in all situations:
  • applied 10/1; > 5/24; IHG & Iberia; Iberia was closed
  • applied 8/15; 1/24; CSP & CF; CF was closed
  • applied 9/22; 0/24; CF & CFU; CFU was closed
  • applied 9/13; 4/24; CSR & CSP; CSP was closed
  • applied 9/8; 2/24; CSR & CSP; CSP was closed
  • applied 9/17; 4/24; Hyatt & IHG; IHG was closed
  • There are numerous other DPs on there but I figured the 6 above were enough to convince us all that this is dead
What does this mean: There really is almost NO good reason to attempt a double dip now. It seems that regardless of 5/24 status and which cards you apply for...it won't work. We don't have any DPs of a Biz/Personal double dip...perhaps that still works. The ONLY reason I'd even attempt a double dip now is if you were at 4/24 and NOT going back under 5/24 for a long time (or ever).

So we don't really know if getting a SW biz card and then a SW personal will even work? Or just not doing them on the same day?
And not to sound dumb, but on the hotel cards listed above, were they closed, because it put them over 5/24, not because they were trying to get double bonuses on the same programs?

It says $200 in one transaction in the offer terms. :(
DETAILS
Get a one-time $200 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single payment of $200+ towards your AT&T Wireless for Business bill directly with AT&T by 12/7/2018. See terms for exclusions.

You can get the SW personal and business cards just not on the same day...

GAH. :badpc::badpc::badpc:

Well the payments I made cover this month and next month, and half of December. So I guess I'll just make a $200 payment right before the offer ends in December and be covered for a couple more months.

Cards are being closed because people double dip. Chase is essentially taking the stance that “we will not approve you for 2 cards on the same day”. It doesn’t matter what your 5/24 status is or which cards you apply for...if you apply for them on the same day they will retroactively close one (sometimes they let you choose, mostly they just close the second card you applied for).

There’s no good reason to “truly double dip” the SW biz and personal card. Apply for them 31+ days apart and people will probably be fine. IF somebody is 4/24, they can apply for biz first and still get the personal 31 days later. In almost all instances we’d advise getting the biz first if possible.

Perfect, thank you!

For the West Coasters: We are thinking about driving the Pacific Coast next June, is it better to start in Seattle and go south or better to start in CA and go north to Seattle? And just to do stops along the way. Trying to decide on San Francisco or Los Angeles as start or stop. Definitely want to take DS to visit Stanford since there is currently where he wants to go to college (he is currently a 7th grader so we have time :) ) We found be flying and renting a car since we are on the East Coast. Thinking 7-10 days. Any thoughts?

Good thing I went with my gut and did the $200 since I didn’t really look at the terms for the offer.

Decided to apply for a American Express business card in between Chase applications....

If I’m looking at the Business MR earning cards correctly...these are the 3 that would have no annual fee the first year

Blue Business Plus...using a referral link...10,000MR after 3k MSR..I also saw a 20,000MR after 5k MSR but not sure if it’s still available

Business Green...referral link...5,000MR after 1 purchase.... $95 annual fee waived 1st year

Business Gold referral link ...50,000MR after 5k MSR...$175 annual fee waived 1st year

Are there other offers I’m missing....are the above good bonus offers...any recommendations on which one to apply for first or any I should hold off on and waiting for a better bonus....lots of questions...lol...appreciate any help
