I give up on Chase referrals which really peeves me off. They are in offers but when I click to get to it and enter my info it says there's no offer. I went into the app and there isn't anything about offers, just a place where I can open an account. Why are they making it so hard and why can't everyone seem to generate referrals.

ETA - Nevermind. MAJOR blonde moment. I found the email I'd gotten about referrals for the CFU the other day and went through that. I finally read everything and it wants the last 4 digits of the credit card, not my social. When I see last 4 I always think social since I'm so used to that being what's asked. Oops. All good now.

I’m still having a blond moment, because I got that far, but am still not sure what url to use for the referral?

Is there a trick to get the AA $200 GCs so AMEX will reimburse? I'm going to try this one soon and don't want to mess up.

buy them like normal i believe. never done it myself but ive seen DP of it working. i think buying $100 at once is also a requirement. ill have to search for that DP again.

I finally found it. It’s in the list of options in the app that also allow you to select “ see statements”, “see payment activity”, “REFER A FRIEND”. Finally!!

Anyone have any issues moving Chase points over to Hyatt? I'm trying to book a room and we are a few thousand points short (Hyatt points) so I'm thinking I can try to move some Chase points over there if that will work.

Just grabbed a great Priceline deal on a hotel for my night before my Disney cruise in January. I swear I've never planned a trip like this ever...
like, I'm just grabbing the first thing that comes up and moving on. Priceline offered me an airport hotel that has shuttle service from airport to hotel, breakfast and shuttle to cruiseport for $70 all in. I took it, didn't read reviews, didn't obsess for anything cheaper, didn't feel like using points, didn't care. Put it on my Plat to make Amex happy.

And when I picked the DCL cruise, I literally searched by date - picked the sailing for the date I wanted and booked it. Didn't worry about the ports or ship or reviews.

It's sort of freeing I won't lie.

Was excited to see that article on DoC from earlier this week that Priority Pass added a restaurant option at SLC- and immediately crushed to see from the comments it died a fast death less than 2 days later

Is there a way to generate a referral link for the CSR? DH has tried twice and Chase said there were no links.

Ack! The option's gone from the app. It had been only through the app for the last few weeks. On your card select the menu option, usually looks like three dots, and in there is an option for refer friends - usually the last option above 'Cancel'. But I just checked on mine and it's missing now like the Freedom. :(

Can confirm. CSR doesn’t have the option on my app either. CFU & CSP do.

Have done it on 3 occasions. Instant transfer. Just transferred some today actually!

Thanks. Just did it for a pricey hotel in NYC, one that I don't want to pay cash for. :goodvibes

Does it work the same way for Marriott? (Crushed to see that I need so many more Marriott points than Hyatt points for a not nearly as nicel hotel).

I did it a few days ago. Was instant. I think it had to be in multiples of 1000.

its typically not worth it. but if u need to top off, then it isnt too bad.

example
Hyatt--> 15,000 UR --> hyatt. if the room is $300, then the CPP is $.02.
marriott --> 30,000 UR --> marriott. if the room is $300, then the cpp is $.01.

UR should be valued around $.02.

Thank you for your thoughts. We did the math here, too, and also realized it was a bad deal.

Somebody brought this up earlier today several pages ago, but does Air b n b code as travel on CSR? How about other cards?

Chase UR newbie here with a question. What's the best way to book a Hilton using URs? Do we just go through the Chase portal or is there a better way?

not much wiggle room with hotels... Portal is your best bet.
either that or statement credit.
