I just called Chase again and spoke with Crystal ext 1118203. She said to call NCL and tell them to transfer the reservation to Loyalty because that’s the TA name NCL sees and being a Chase TA. She also said it’s up to NCL as to how much time I have to transfer the cruise but that once I transfer it I can only apply points once (at the time of transfer).

ETA: Norwegian said I have until PIF to transfer the cruise to a TA.

I booked DCL for this upcoming Dec through chase using URs.

Yes, they can get whatever promo the cruise line is running. I didn't ask for a specific cabin, but I presume like any TA they could choose what you want. If you book it with them you'll have to pay the points at time of booking. I have read that you can book directly, pay the deposit with the cruise line, and then transfer the booking to Chase within 30 day to avoid paying the points before the PIF date.

I didn't even know that was a possibility - booking with the cruise line directly then transferring to Chase! Thanks so much for the tip!!

All of these reports of “Delayed Pending URs” is crazy! I wonder what is going on with Chase here...is it a system problem or is it intentional. We certainly aren’t going to get a clear answer from calling or an SM either. @PolyRob - I think you hit your MSRs on your double dip pretty quick. What’s your status on pending URs - see anything yet?

For those asking - all evidence I’ve seen is your base and category earnings are showing up. However the bonus is not. It’s a pretty recent issue so I don’t think I’ve seen anybody with 2 statement closes and still no points...

If my statement closes 21 days after I've met MSR and I still don't have the points... don't worry, I'll be blowing Chase's phones up enough that we'll get an answer :rotfl2:

I can't believe it, but I just booked flights to Orlando for next week!!! I'm such a planner that this just feels so weird. I had some SW credits to use up, so I used those plus my $200 gc that should be covered by my Amex Plat credit. Then for the return flight I used points.

Now for a hotel. We get in at 9pm to MCO so I think I might book the Hyatt MCO. My best bet would be to transfer points through Chase, correct?

And then for the next few nights it looks like I can book Wyndham Bonnet Creek through the UR portal, or Swan, Dolphin and AKL are showing in Expedia. Any advice?

Looking for confirmation on the spacing of Chase applications..... DW will be 4/24 next week - her last Chase app (CIP) was 6/3 - so 3 months ago. I am eyeing that Sapphire DD for her - I should be good to go for it in 2 weeks, right? (BTW, her last sapphire bonus was over 4 years ago.)
:teacher: I think you’re in good shape! :thumbsup2 Good Luck!! :-)

I transferred UR points to Hyatt for the MCO Hyatt. I did the cash + points booking. We landed at almost midnight. Are you planning a park day the next day? Are you RD'ers? I guess for us, landing at 9pm, we'd still head to WDW, even if we just stayed in a value for the night and let Disney move us the next day. But we hit the parks when they open and getting there from MCO would eat up a lot of time.

Seems fine to me also. Good luck with the DD!

I know there are dps that the CIP bonus is slow in posting right now. Anyone seen anything about CSR? Trying to be patient...

Love, love, love Chercher. Get the veggie platter and the lamb or beef tibs (or both)! You'll be so stuffed you can't leave.

But you already see your points pending...you are not experiencing the issue that others are discussing. You just need to wait for a statement to close and you’re points will post (exactly as it is expected to work).

Others are seeing an increased wait time to see their points listed in the pending category. This is causing greater concern that there is increased scrutiny or something going on around bonuses.

DH met the spend on the business unlimited in less than a month. Statement closed. I have waited and no points. Not showing pending; not showing anything at all. Last week I sent a secure message on it and while they have received the message no response as to where points are. I don’t have any use for the points right now but it is definitely frustrating.

I’m also missing pending points on my CIC. Met the spend on August 17 and still haven’t seen anything pending other than points for charges. My statement closes the 10th so I guess if nothing else I should have the points posted next week.

I'm waiting on both a CIP bonus and a CSP bonus (second half of a double dip) - several weeks since we met spend and the CSP statement has closed. They must be holding them up for some reason. (Fair warning, I'm about to go into financial statement-based conspiracy theories with zero information to back it up) Is it possible they are trying to delay posting the liability for the value of the points? They'd need to hold out until October 1 for the difference to affect their financials, but maybe they want it all to post in Q4? Possibly to coincide with updated info relating to the impact of the 2017 tax reform legislation? They have until Q4 to true up their estimate of the cost of the toll tax (I think they said it would cost them 2+billion in their initial estimate) so they are trying to smooth out their deferred liabilities? Yeah, I've got nothing to back that up, but the issue seems too widespread for them to be scrubbing everyone's account.

if my wife has a Chase IHG from april..a Chase Southwest from August 20th. Does she have to wait 30 days to apply for a CSR. We need the 1.5 for April trip and am getting worried about reservations. Thank You.

Wait - clarify...you DO see them pending OR they are NOT showing as pending (thus not showing at all)?

It makes me crazy because it is corporate wide. In my position, the holidays are very slow and it is thee time of year when our sales projections are the lowest. You would think you want the revenue generating partners to take off during the slow times instead of when it is busy. Go figure.

That is exceptionally dumb, and frustrating. Its hard when your position is out of step with the usual ebb and flow of the company's busy and slow times, but most places I've worked have at least allowed case by case exceptions, when it makes sense. I've had to be very quiet about being on vacation a few times, because the timing would have been lousy for other departments, but worked well with my schedule. I don't complain about it when I'm the only person in the building for several Saturdays in a row, because I'm slammed when no one else is - but I better be able to take time off when I can!

Not pending. Bonus points not showing at all. I'm betting that from an accounting standpoint, Chase has to record them as soon as they are awarded to an account (which would mean "pending" to us).

Ok let’s just clarify the language I’ve typically seen is use here to avoid confusion:

URs pending typically has meant you can see the points showing in your “Earning on Next Statement” section on the Chase site. Perhaps we haven’t all used it to mean that but we should try to be uniform to not confuse newbies (and me LOL!)

Thanks, maybe we should just head to whatever hotel I end up choosing. Normally we'd be there at RD, but I think our only park time will be MNSSHP on Friday night. So we'll get in at 9pm Wednesday night, then Thursday will be pool and maybe Disney Springs, Friday will be pool and MNSSHP, Saturday will be pool then fly home.

Sorry - didn't even realized I used the word pending, they are definitely not "Pending". Changed my original post to be less confusing to all!

So funny! I just went through this with our Disney trip this weekend. We had flights but I literally just booked our hotel for Sat an hour ago. I would also check the Disney site for pricing. I looked at Swan and Dolphin but scratched them off since there was no MDE. I had originally booked AKL but canceled it since the main pool is closed for renovation and we were having a couple of pool days. I ended up selecting the YC for the pool and the location. I actually had Chase book directly with Disney so that I could get the Enchanted Escape rate (I had checked Disney for pricing also.) It was so very, very easy!!! I always also check the fed gov't employee rate at the Hyatt MCO since we are feds and sometimes that rate is lower than the other rates. We've only stayed there before DCL so that our luggage can be magically whisked away. Have fun! I don't plan to tell DS we are staying at YC. He thinks we are staying at POR but I decided the few extra URs were whether the location :)

No worries my friend - that wasn’t directed at anybody in particular. Just trying to keep things easy to understand here. :)
