can you or @amalone1013 detail how to do that again? I'd like to get down there sometime and need a deal

I did it over a year ago so prices have changed since but I bought the buy 2 get 1 free day hopper and payed $10 to upgrade to seasonal ap. Just went to guest relations and asked to upgrade. Super easy.

My plan is as @WVMomof3 said, I just think I'll be getting 3 day 3 park tickets from UCT and upgrading to 3 park seasonal AP. It makes more sense since we are doing VB this weekend. With current prices if you buy the 2 park 2 days plus 1 free ticket, it is the same price as a 2 park seasonal AP so $0 to upgrade.

hahaha I was huge too at prom....It was me and my date was a friend from our group...the gay friend. The pregnant teen and the gay guy. :rotfl2: My poor parents. I was so dumb. It is ok. I turned out fine. LOL. Just sorta jealous now of DD19's fun college experience she is having and knowing all the fun she will have in her 20s. I was working full time, raising a baby as a single momma, and in nursing school when I was her age.

Amazing how responsibility can improve your focus. I was an ok student in undergrad, when all I had to worry about was getting to class and working a part-time job, but was a straight A rockstar in grad school. In addition to being older (which I'm sure helped), I was taking a full load of classes (as many as they'd let me take at once), working full time and had a 1 year old. I did have lots of support from DH (he was in law school), but those years are a blur for both DH and me!

I can see DHs Starriott account showing his gold status from SPG Lux. That just makes me feel better that I put the right account number on his app!

Add my mom to the 18 club here... she had my brother when she was 18! Fortunately for her, she finished high school in three years, so she was out of school. She always said getting pregnant young saved her life though. Almost everyone she hung out with back then ended up being drug addicts or having pretty serious issues down the road. Several have sadly passed away. She had me 12 years later on my brother's birthday, so it's a family joke that my brother and I are the only half-sibling twins to ever exist. We've actually always done weird stuff unknowingly like buy each other the same birthday cards, buy my mom the same birthday/Mother's Day card... it's pretty funny.

@disneymagicgirl I actually did the same thing for prom! One of my best friends was not out publicly, so I went to prom with him even though I had just started dating DH at the time. I went to four different proms in high school, and that one was definitely the most fun!

this is amazing thank you!

UGH, it's been a week since I was told my new Hilton Biz would be expedited, and it wasn't, and it's still not coming today, grrrrrrrr. I have some stuff to pay this weekend that could have put some dent in the spend. It sure as heck better be here by next Thursday before we leave for Disney.
Have you called? I called on Tuesday (approved on Friday) and asked about card delivery because I requested immediate account number and the website timed out. After being put on hold for a couple minutes, I was told it hadn't gone out yet! And he would have it expedited for Thursday delivery, which is when I received it.

Chat told me it was sent USPS on Friday, unless they were wrong too. What number did you call?

I also have extra Lifetime nights. I only have the 5 nights I got from the SPG card earlier this year in total for my SPG account, somehow I have 10 Lifetime nights though. I'm not gonna complain but no clue how they got there...

For the Platinum, still need the 50 nights. The status is just kind of a perk when given by the card, but if you want higher status still have to meet all the same requirements, either nights or insane spends. So if you want to be Platinum have to figure out another 24 nights (edit: or spend like crazy, I think it's 75k for plat?). You won't get any nights from the Lux until 2019. And then at that point you can only have 15 nights from credit cards total, no more stacking from multiple cards.

I'm at extra lifetime nights, with 23 I don't know where they came from or what they are counting.

Can I pay utility bills with Amex? I'm trying to meet 2 Amex MSRs.
Yes, but it comes down to if the utility company would accept Amex or not. The majority of my utility companies do not take amex, but do accept visa and amex card.

random question of the day (for me) is it smarter to max the FR category at Walgreens buying a $500 visa,or to max the AMEX offer at staples buying visa gc? I'm leaning towards the 10% off....I wish I had enough $$$ to do both but I don't think so this month...it's been a busy summer......or.....and this is a first for me, best gc to purchase for resale? what sells best, and what place to use? I know there are better choices....

If your limited to one, pick the one that u value more. If you value UR, go for Walgreens, if you value whatever amex card points ur getting, go with that. The Amex card 10% is more profitable though. GC best for resale is Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, Best Buys, target, etc. If you need help with this, feel free to PM me and i can help you out with that.

1 (800) 528-2122 It got me to an agent but I was on a repetitive loop of sorts with the automated system. I just kept pressing -0- until it asked me if I wanted a representative.

It was really hard to pack everything into a backpack last night, how did that happen? A few shirts, shorts, swim suit/coverup/flip flops, a pair of flats for dinner/MNSSHP, outfit for MNSSHP (it's just normal clothing, nothing special), socks, 2 1qt liquid bags (which includes 3 bottles of sunscreen :D but no shampoo/conditioner since Pop has individual bottles of the H20 line now - thanks @Haley R!), my little travel purse, phone charger, some disposable ponchos... I'm wearing my tennis shoes on the plane... so why is my backpack bulging right now? o_O

Yeah, we are heavy packers too. I keep telling DW that I want to make an effort to pack lighter (since I'm always the one lugging the luggage... hey wait I think I just realized the origin of that word!), and yet, we keep adding bags.

I've gotten pretty good at going light, but when we go to Disney World all bets are off. I'm not even that bad about DLR...

See like here, we went to California from Thurs morning to the following Sun evening, and all I took was this duffel and brown tote! I was so proud! And I didn't even steal any of DHs bag space, because he actually left Mon for a work trip in Canada and flew straight to Cali Thurs morning and we met out there. The only thing I did was put an extra empty tote in his bag in case we had extra souvenirs to bring back.

We just did 3 weeks in Europe with carry ons only. Since he ends up dealing with my luggage some of the time, DH was very happy about it. When I mentioned we might need an actual check in sized suitcase this time he just worked harder to fit it all in. :rotfl:

Can't recall if anyone noticed this yet with the change to Expedia on the Chase Freedom cards, but you can order some WDW tickets without having to call:
https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/c..._disney_walt_disney_world_megathread/e55r2i5/

Checked it out on my Freedom card, and it was a little wonky at first, but on a second search I got all the options they mentioned. Everything you can book from Expedia, including the promo tickets, are showing up in the UR portal. I haven't followed all the ticketing changes closely over the years since we bought our NE passes, so you'd just have to weigh Expedia bought passes online vs Disney bought passes over the phone when using your UR.

I'll echo the sentiment, it should be pretty nice once CSP/CSR get setup on the Expedia portal. Have we found a downside yet to having Expedia?
