Before I get off topic, anyone get any good AMEX deals lately? I'm not seeing much for the past few days and I am wondering if it's AMEX or just me not getting targeted.

Yes, unfortunately there is no way to email or fax. I called twice to try to see if that was an option and they wouldn't let me so I finally mailed it. I mailed mine just regular mail and had no problems. So long as your identity matches, you will be approved for the card. I'm getting ready to do the same thing for DH. Just make sure you copy the front AND back of your cards. Yes, even the back of the social security card that doesn't say anything except for where to mail a found card to.

Anybody use the SW RR portal for Disney gift cards and get the bonus?

I want to max out the semi-annual promo for the extra 2k, but won't have anything to purchase online before the promo ends... I know gift card purchases are exempt from the promo in the fine print, but portals have always worked in the past with GC.

Thinking about GC through Target... can anyone confirm?

Good question. I just loaded a $30 Disney gift card into my account. At the very bottom is says that "The charge on your credit card will appear as GIFTCARDS." Wondering if it processed through vendor like Gift Card Mall instead of Office Depot???

Did you add in all of the extra fees on Frontier? I had found cheap, cheap flights out of Harrisburg, PA to MCO (I’ve never been to Harrisburg but imagine it is a small airport) but the fare only includes carrying basically a backpack on the plane that needs to fit under the seat. To bring luggage, you pay a fee then there is a fee for seating...it suddenly got much more expensive. A friend was talking about how people will layer up (undergarments, pants, shirts, etc..)

Have you considered the cost difference vs SW on your luggage? Last time I priced Frontier, their baggage fees were insane and made up for the difference for what I would have saved if I went with Frontier. Plus the resort I work at here in Vegas is really close to the airport, so we get a lot of the stay-over guests that have had cancelled flights. It's always either Frontier/Allegiant/Spirit flights. Supposedly they barely maintain their planes... we had an Allegiant plane catch on fire last year IIRC at McCarran.

I’ve never used UR for frontier but we’ve flown with them a lot. We like them for the convenience. They are the only airline near us that flies nonstop to MCO. For southwest we either pay a bunch or drive 5 hours to Chicago to get a nonstop flight.

Done with my BOA Amtrak card spend (only $1,000 spend). Paid our 6 month Geico car insurance premium, electric, gas, cable and phone. DONE. Called BOA and the rep says he sees a bonus of 20,000 points plus TWO additional 10,000 bonuses!!! I'm not holding my breath but if they give me 40,000 points (should be 30,000), that would be gnarly.

The bank bonuses continue to roll in. Just recieved $300 from Columbia bank (waiting on $200 additional) and $150 from BBT. Got $300 from Chase checking and the 6 months will be up in September so I can close. I just signed up for a Capital One MMA for $200 bonus and Chase just sent me a flier for $300 for a savings ($25,000 deposit).

DH will be doing the Citizens $400 and Santander $250 next month before they expire. So far I've gotten $1300 this year with another $1250 expected.

We leave for our WDW trip in 12 days. 7 nights at the Grand Floridian and 1 night at the Waldorf Bonnet Creek using the AMEX FHR booking.

I haven't noticed much, but that's all going to depend on buying habits. Also, I really do think there's a 100 offer limit to show on the site. There's hasn't been much I'm interested in so I've been at 90+ offers on my one card, if I get to 100 I add some expiring offers to the card and then logout/login and sometimes I can see a new one. Like I'm pretty sure I got another Hello Fresh offer today after I did that. There's two I'm seeing, one for Hello Fresh itself and then another for Hello Fresh Wine (OT, but OMG AmEx, how much wine can one really buy?!?! At least a quarter of my offers are wine.. and then I have 11 "featured" offers from AmEx taking up space. I really don't need to know about the ShopRunner benefit I've had for probably 6 years now, every single time I look at offers. grr). I only had 1 HelloFresh before, pretty sure, but after I did the "trick" there's 2 now. And I really have to pay more attention, but I'm pretty sure I got it down to 95 but when I logged in again I had 96.

I stumbled onto that from a DoC post on ways to try to pull up a specific offer (of course I forget which one now so I can't link to it). Since then I've noticed I don't go past "100" listed in the tab label, and I'm pretty sure if I clear out some offers I do get new ones in their place. I also occasionally use the "old interface" link to find offers. I always have to search for it again, I had trouble bookmarking it before as it would redirect to the new interface. But I might try to find it and bookmark it again as I just like it better.
