ShopRite friends, for this week's gift card promo (buy $50 Lowe's/Home Depot gc, get $10 off oyno) is the "limit one per customer" limit one per Price Plus number or limit one per transaction?

I have to buy a replacement attic ladder at Home Depot by Nov 18.

Usually it's one per Price Plus number since it states you need your card to get it. Maybe everyone just needs their own number now for their groceries this week?

Oh I remember hearing about that, I think it's one of the AmEx cards, probably the Plat. Someone had figured out how to unsubscribe in r/churning but I can't think if it was self service or you had to chat to do it. Hopefully the search there is up and running today...

ETA: Ah ha, search was up today. @speedyfishy You can call or chat with AmEx to cancel the subscription, if you don't want it. No handy dandy check box anywhere though.

DH and I each got the Departures magazine yesterday. We both have a Amex Biz Plat.

I don't think it was a mistake. Usually, when Amex introduces new benefits, like on the Gold and Platinum cards, existing cardmembers get the new benefits as soon as they're introduced but are grandfathered in to the old terms and annual fee for some time after the changes.

With the window for the triple dip opening in about two weeks, I'm most worried that Amex will announce new benefits while quietly changing the airline credit from calendar year to cardmember year. What one hand giveth the other taketh away.

Picked our National Rental up from MCO we booked via the new UR. No free extra drivers with National when booked via UR Even for National members, lady at the gate tried but asked if we booked via Expedia or something because the system was going to charge us for adding the driver. We were able to go straight to the garage to pickup.

I hate branching out into the unknown. I like my Hilton/Hertz/Southwest bubble.

We skip the counter with Alamo...I prefer them because they don’t charge each day for the sun pass only for the days you go through a toll

Started reading about Harry Potter Land (as I call it) and now I really want to go. And you know WHAT? There's a Hyatt Place right across the street with a shuttle to the parks, big, lovely rooms, and FREE BREAKFAST for WoH members (like moi). For 8,000 points a night.

Might be time to close the old Hyatt and open a new WoH card for the sweet sign-up bonus. 5/24 doesn't apply to the Hyatt card, right?

Dosh worked like a charm! Soon as the waitress ran my CC, I receive an alert that money had been added to my account. Looks like none of the Walmart’s on the offer are in my area. I went and bought bananas and no alert and when I checked no locations in the area were found. I like that it doesn’t go pending like RMN.

We love HPL! I just purchased our APs today. DH wants to wait to activate them in March so we will get 2 summers out of them since they are currently offering an extra 6 months free for preferred or premier. I went with the preferred passes and now am wishing I had done premium. I am hoping I can upgrade when we activate and still the extra 6 months, if not, we’ll stick with the preferred.

CitiCard 5% cash back question. I'm planning to buy a BestBuy gift card through the CashStar promo. Will that be categorized as a "Best Buy" purchase for my CitiCard or is cash star something else? Thanks!

When I try, it says the promo code can’t be applied. Dh said he’s going to contact them on Twitter (since that’s the ONLY way we’ve gotten any response back from them)

I had this issue with flights back in June. I noticed it well before the flights, it was my friend's first name and I'd made a typo and added an extra 'L' in her name. I was actually able to contact someone via Twitter (of all things) and she was very helpful and got it all sorted out. I'm glad I did, because my friend noticed the dude going letter by letter comparing her ID to her boarding pass.

I had tried calling, but there was always a problem with that or the wait was outrageously long. So I started poking around online and wound up on Twitter! I never go on Twitter, but I do have an account and was able to get it fixed.

You tweeted at Southwest? Or was it a different airline?
