Dang really!? I looked for the 50k plus offer on my flight earlier this month and only saw premier. Where do you find plus?
DH just flew yesterday but the wifi was down so couldn't pull up any offers. But Monday both were 50K. Had just asked him to look but don't apply as we dont need sw now that we did the business.

He operates as a sole proprietor, and that's what the CIP is set up under. The business does have it's own EIN. He was instantly approved for the CIP even though I used his name. Maybe because I was using an EIN?

My original plan was to do this - use my SSN and name to open the CIP. I was meaning I would use the existing business's revenue/income/length information.

:cheer2: ok this does sound super exciting but also a little scary!!! Does it change things if the CIP we have already is with an EIN but under DH'S name? You're saying I could open one under my name using the same EIN? Does it matter if I'm already an AU on his CIP?

DH is legitimately diversifying his business operation sometimes next year and it would involve opening up a separate LLC...so it seems like that's another possibility to consider.
I think using the EIN and applying with your name is okay as long as your name is on the business.

I shared a dp two days ago about using MCs from Staples on Plastiq , and @SBWB48 and @amalone1013 did too. We've had success with the fixed value MCs being accepted for the MasterPass promo on Plastiq. Lain got an error with his variable load MC being accepted for the MasterPass promo, as I understand it he was able to put the MCGC onto his MasterPass account, but then Plastiq didn't apply the MasterPass promo to the payment, did I get that right @Lain? You can link the MC as a payment card directly onto your Plastiq account, but then you get a 2.5% fee assessed instead of the $0 fee right now with the MasterPass promo.
how do you do set up masterpass? Hoping staples sends the cards soon would like to get them and try them out

We thought staying at the HKDL hotel was a good move. It was really nice to just walk over to the park. Depending on how flights go for the Japan ABD next year we may stay there again. If we fly Cathay Pacific, we will likely stop for a day/night at HKDL for a Mystic Manor fix. Totally fell in love with Albert, the monkey.

Calypso, totally thought of you and your love of Albert the monkey when we were on our Backstage Magic ABD. At Imagineering, we went into Studio C where they do sound stuff, and we got a virtual ride through of Mystic Manor so we could see how complicated it was to do the sound for that ride. Albert the monkey figured prominently!!

And switching gears completely from the above, another football fanatic here. Counting down the days to the start of college FB season. We’ll be traveling to 8 Cal games this Fall: 6 in Berkeley, starting with Cal v. UNC a week from today, and away games at BYU and Oregon State. We’re using the Utah and Oregon trips as college scouting trips for DD, who is a jr in high school, mostly checking out Utah and Oregon State, but we’ll check out Oregon as well.

I'm trying to clean up DH credit report. I had Chase remove him as AU on a couple cards. I believe I've read here that I now need the accounts removed from his CR. How do I do that?

I’ve read here that you can contact Chase..either have your husband message or call...saying his is not and has never been responsible for the cards you removed him on asking that they remove the cards from his credit report....you can also dispute with the credit agency’s as well

Today:
  • 2x$50 GCs at Best Buy for AMEX offer ($10 back), will get in total $12.60 in swagbucks plus $2 in BB rewards back
  • 4x$25 GCs at BB&B for AMEX offer ($20 back)
  • 2x$50 GCs at Staples for AMEX offer ($15 back) plus $5 RMN on DHs, mine didnt track for some reason.
Spent $300, getting $45 back from AMEX and about $20 from other programs :goodvibes

Dispute with the credit agencies. They should remove it.

Is there an easy way to dispute, i.e. no phone calls? Or maybe easier to ask Chase to remove?

Amex must really like me because they've given me a $32k CL on my SPG, $24k CL on my SPG Biz, and $25k on my SPG Lux.

What should I do? I'm drowning in credit!

Wow..do you keep the CL they give you or reduce them......since I’m new just concentrating on Chase cards...and the CL’s to me have been crazy...I've been reducing them before the first statement even closes.....

Pretty sure I’ve read a while back on here .... if your husband has a chase log in...he or you can secure message them...asking to remov e the cards he was an AU on removed from his credit report...maybe try a search on this thread...sorry I don’t remember who posted it

Did you swing by Safeway for the $15 off 2x $100 VGCs ($5.95 activation fee) and $10 off 2x $50 VGCs ($4.95 activation fee)? Deal expires today.

The credit bureaus all have online dispute “forms” to complete. You just select the account you want to dispute, give the reason that it was not your account and within a couple of days to a month, they are all gone, or at least they were for DH and me :) some of the credit bureaus were much more efficient at it than others.

Buy a Tesla?

You mean a depreciating asset? No thanks.

Besides, I think I missed the Plastiq 3x train on that one.

ETA: Just to be clear, I'm not trying to pass judgment on anyone buying new cars. My car is going on 16 years. I'm the original owner. I love my car. I take good care of it. It still runs awesome. But at the same time, it's just a tool for us to get from point A to B. I see no need to buy a new car when I have a perfectly good one, and think that putting good money into a new car now would be a waste (for us). If and when my car dies, I'll begrudgingly buy a new car. But it'll make sense then.
