no clue:rolleyes1
I am low on SWRR. We have a CP through this year and about 115k points right now. I can always use more of those, as they seem to be the best airline from BNA.
Also always good to hoard URs as they can transfer to SW or be used for disney, etc.
ETA: We want to do Hawaii when youngest DD is 4+. So that would be Christmas 2019 or the following summer, likely. We will need 2 rooms unless I book something that sleeps 6 thought the UR portal.

UR seems like the best choice for you but if your gonna double dip SW for CP, i would stay away from chase.
you dont seem to have any MR earning cards, have you considered hitting some Amex Biz cards, then perhaps the SW double dip?

I just talked DH into stopping at Best Buy multiple times to combine swagbucks with the amex offer. Yay! But it's literally on our route home and we've been carpooling so well each do $50 a day. Weve got it on 5 cards, 7 if we can use the ILs.

We got the BBY $30 off $300 Amex Offer on 3 cards (2 of mine, and 1 of DW's). I'm done with one card, working on the second (DW's PRG AU). No way am I going to convince DW to swing by BBY 6x to buy Disney GCs. So I've been using DW's AU card, no problem. Cashier scans the GC, enters my phone number for BBY Rewards, scans the QR code before starting payment; when prompted, I just insert DW's card into the card reader, wait 3 seconds and done. No signature required, n̶o̶ cardholder name on the receipt [edit: checked again, and DW’s name is on the receipt]. I doubt the cashier can even see, or cares whose name is actually on the card. I've never been asked about it. Same with the BB&B $5 off $25 Amex Offer. We were able to add it on 8 of our Amex cards (4 of which were DW's). I inserted DW's cards into the card reader each time, signed the paper receipt, and done -- no problem. I hate dragging DW to these things, but I also hate seeing Amex Offers go to waste. This works out and she's happy we're saving 20% on our next Disney trip.

Thanks for explaining things. I'm still struggling to keep up here. I'm not seeing the Best Buy offer (but DH might have grabbed that one) so I'm prob. not targeted for that one.

Best Buy Amex Offers are among the most popular and always fill up fast. Most, if not all, Amex Offers have an enrollment limit. If enough people add the offer to their cards, it'll "disappear" from the available offers on everybody else cards if they hadn't added it yet. Best Buy always fills up, so as soon as you see it on your cards, read about it on the blogs or here on the DIS, add it!

There are rules to adding Amex Offers if you have multiple Amex cards. I think we told you about these before. Amex likes to limit you to one offer per account, and now apparently per person. If you have multiple cards on one online account, and you have an offer on multiple cards, once you add an offer on one card in that online account, it disappears from the other cards in that same account. You can get around this with the multi-tab trick, which I remember linking for you.

A new wrinkle to this seems to be that if you have multiple Amex online accounts under your name, and cards scattered across those multiple online accounts, once you add an offer on a card on one of your online accounts, they disappear from all cards linked to your name even if they're on different online accounts. The way around this seems to be open up all your online accounts each in separate browsers, then use the multi-tab trick to open up the offers on each of your cards, and then add the offers on each card.

August 1. I used it for the first and last time at a Sheraton in May. It was awful! The hotel was rundown and the "lounge" did not have any food or drinks. It literally was just a room with chairs and a TV. I complained as their website advertised it had a lounge with drinks, snacks, and breakfast. They gave me two bottles of water and breakfast vouchers. I wrote a review and was given 4,000 points in response.

We just returned from a trip to Portland, Oregon and we specifically stayed at the Nines one night so we could take advantage of the lounge with our SPG biz. I was told that I couldn't access the lounge with my card. I was ready to ask for a manager, but was getting disapproving stares from the family. I am now thinking that if I should let them know. The whole lounge benefit is not been very much use to us.

Any experience with how long it takes for Marriott points to post from the Chase Marriott biz account? My statement closed yesterday and I see the 75k bonus points on my Chase account (woohoo!) but not on my Marriott account. But, I had some issues with my Marriott online account so I'm just wondering whether to worry yet or just be patient :goodvibes

So have you gotten the $5 off to post on all of them? The BB&B one posted and then the credit. But Samsclub.com took 5 days to post and no sign of the credit yet.

This makes me glad I only have one Amex card. :duck:Used my BB&B offer online today to get some things I have been meaning to buy. Easy with just one card.

Small update on my quest to have Chase UR's pay for our Disney package. Finding time yesterday was a bit of a bust but this morning it worked. Talked to Krystal and she was all over it. Heads up everyone stay away from Reneshia(sp). Sent me the form, I sent it back, and now waiting to hear. Fingers crossed. So thanks everyone @DaveL, @disneybirds, @speedyfishy.

And I got the email yesterday and we are going to the AP event on October 25! So excited it actually works out for once when we are there! And the price is definitely right. See the AP's practically pay for themselves. :)

Glad Krystal was able to help! Hoping everything transfers just fine. Isn't it great how we can justify the cost of the AP's with these events? :) Just wish there was an event while we are there at the end of Sept.

I think your DW and my DH are remarkably similar! DH likes the savings but I think for the most part he is humoring me. I am going to have to take DH to Staples though for the Amex deal. (Only one physical store here and about 90 minutes away). I don't want to buy online and pay the fee and I have it on my card too. I tried to use his card at Lowes for a $500 gift card and the cashier wouldn't take it since didn't match identification (stupid responsible teller). We even have same last name on it! He will do it though because of the savings as the Amex deal on the cards will pay for our WDW AP renewals at 10% off!

So have you gotten the $5 off to post on all of them? The BB&B one posted and then the credit. But Samsclub.com took 5 days to post and no sign of the credit yet.

For BB&B, I got the Great news! emails immediately after making a $25 transaction, and the $5 statement credits posted about 2 days later on all our cards. For BBY, I got the Great news! email immediately after I made my sixth $50 purchase putting me at $300. The $30 statement credit also posted in about 2 days. I’m still waiting for my Samsclub .com credits (split tender on 2 cards) for my purchase last week.

Yes it was odd. I called the extension you posted it didn't answer and said wait for next person and then it went to her. I was like ("please be the Krystal who knows her stuff!") She was all over it though and even called me back after I posted this morning to say she was going to contact Disney right away and push it through since knew on tight deadline. She mentioned that she was off tomorrow but would call Friday. We are going with my parents and she even asked for their room reservation so she can tell Disney to make sure and have them be connecting or at least adjoining. Such a relief!

Debating applying for the CIP...ran the numbers and I can meet the minimum spend with a little creativity. My business is having sold just a rare thing here or there at a consignment shop so probably 1-2 years and maybe 200 in income. What do you all think are my chances of being approved? Would be my first business card, as I really don't consider myself to have a business. I'm 4/24, last chase card 1/2018 and last card discover 2/2018.

Thanks everyone. Clearly my issue is that we have only one AMEX account (plus 2 AUs) :rotfl: That and I don't have willing players with the multi tab thing. I'll look out for the Best Buy offer next time. I'll get there... it's just taking some time. It's hard to keep up daily, and after my upcoming trip there will be all new offers to figure out. :thumbsup2

I got in to that event too! Now I just have to convince my SO that going in July, August, September, and July is not insane lol we are really just getting value out of the APs

4 trips in a year is not insane with an AP. I think we will end up going 7 times and it is an 8 hour drive. A couple of those trips were short weekend ones and we flew. My youngest is already asking to go at Thanksgiving which would make 8 trips.

I'm wondering the same. Just about a week since the statement closed and nothing in the account yet, but I guess it's only been 4 business days technically.

I set up a Staples .com account for DW to buy 3x $300 VGCs (each with an $8.95 fee), so approximately a 3% fee on an offer that gives you back 10% statement credit on the total purchase. (Staples sells only up to $200 VGCs in-store, and the $300 VGCs have the lowest % fee.) I think it was @gottalovepluto who had the idea to take these VGCs to buy Disney GCs in $50 increments at BBY to stack with the SB QR code for another 10% back.

I finished off the $1,000 spending cap on the Staples offer by just taking DW’s Amex in store and buying 3x $25 Amazon gift cards. Just dip the card into the reader; no ID or signature required.

I did the same for me.

I’m not sure of your chances, but as a comparison I was approved a few years ago for the SW business with $500 income and 4 yr selling on eBay. Just make sure you use your name and SS number for the business name and EIN

I normally cant talk DH into doing this special. That's why I usually carry his AMEX cards and have them in my Samsung Pay. And I really should add his Barclay since I dont have anything for non category.

But about 2 months ago, his department moved to a new office, which is 10 mins from me so weve been carpooling. So he gets to go along on this adventure!

I think you have a very good chance. It's been 6+mos since you last hit Chase, no biz cards, and a legit 'business'. @speedyfishy got approved for the CIP with much less income than $200. Good luck!
